umm, i have 2 Male Lv 1 Eevee. I want both to become an Espeon/Umbreon team. Ive had them on my team for like 10 hours. And there happiness is going up real slow. Got any tips or thoughts as why? Besides the usual 'use a soothe bell' or 'do massages everyday'. I need fresh ideas, i do those everyday anyways.

Those berries that raise happiness, but lower EVs. And since you don't have any EVs, you only get the happiness.
A ton of these, and you can have a max happiness Eevee in a matter of minutes! It's my favorite way to gain happiness.
These include Pomeg, Kelpsey, Qualot, Hondew, Grepa, and Tamato

If you have used ten of each vitamin, you must've gained quite a lot of happiness points. Soothe Bell+walking and massages just give a finishing touch. Walking, by the way, gives +1 happiness point (or 2 with Soothe Bell equipped) for each 256 steps, so you have to walk quite a bit. Gaining a level gives 1-5 points (you gain 5 points if you have less than 100 hapiness points) and vitamins 2-5 (again, 5 points only if happiness value is below 100). Grooming gives 3 points is happiness value is below 200, 1 if value is over 200. Eevee evolves when the value is min. 220.

There's a three points add between 5 and 1 (or 5 and 2), which takes place when happiness value is 100-199, I forgot to mention.
I did the calculation and unless my math brain has completely rusted away (which I wouldn't doubt for a second), you can gain 203 happiness points using only maximum amount of vitamins. The rest 17 you have to collect by using some other method.
...and Eevee's base happiness value is 70, so you don't have to use even that much of vitamins. If the base value was zero, then you would have to.

If you breed, the baby's base happiness is 120. Otherwise, you're set. Always do everything with your Pokémon holding a Soothe Bell.

In the fuego Iron works i believe, there is a place where if you put something to keep the up button down over night, your character will keep walking non stop, then when you wake up your pokemon will be max happiness

honestly, if you bred them yourself, you can max the happines in about 5 minutes
i know u dont want to hear "the usual", but follow these simple steps and youll have ur espy/umbry real quick
1) give whicher one ur doin first the soothe bell
2) give that one 20 vitamins
3) get the massage
4) go to the resort area w/ them leadin ur party, find a wild pokemon, switch to someone who can kill it, do so
5) step 4 1 more time n they should evolve
6) now just wait until its the right time of day for the other one 2 evolve and repeat those steps (if its not the next day, dont worry aobut the massage, u might just need 1 more battle)

For a bred guy, if you use AR and have a bunch of Rare Candies, you can Rare Candy someone while holding the Soothe Bell and they'll level up around 27-28.

Feeding Rare Candies doesn't increase happiness.
