tournaments

is there going to be a pokemon tournaments any where in may or june of 2008? i need a tournament in the city of virginia beach,VA 23456. I also want a tournament where every ones lvls go down to lvl 50.If there is a tournament will i be allowed to use pokemon that my friends gave me. my friends used a gameshark. then they migrated there pokemon. The pokemon that i got was mewto.

I'm pretty sure that they don't allow sharked/hacked PKMN in tournaments. And I'm pretty darn sure that they can figure out if your PKMN was sharked/hacked or not.

Hacked Pokémon are not allowed in practically any tournament anywhere.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to tell if a Pokemon has been hacked, too.

If you really want to use a Mewtwo, complete FireRed/LeafGreen and go catch him. He's worth it.

Which reminds me .. would anyone know about where there are tournaments? I want to play in one as well.

umm, you might be able to goto a forum specifically for Pokemon Tournaments. Maybe pokemon.com has it? or another big pokemon site. And I migrated my Firered Mewtwo over to Diamond. Well worth it, he pwns with the right moveset.

There is a huge tournament coming up sometime this summer, but from what I hear you have to show up in either New York City or Los Angeles to qualify.

Also, it's kind of a doubles tournament. And if your DS has ever touched any Pokemon that's ever been in a game with an AR they'll DQ you. Doubles is also a lot more complex than singles.
