Krazy Koco King

Krazy Koco King meandered into the virtual room, which at the moment he had programmed to be a small classroom.
"And now we wait..." he murmured to himseld, sitting down at the front of the class waiting for the "rookies" to enter.

Moongem walked in and sat at a free desk near to the front of the virtual small classroom, flashing a smile at her mentor, Krazy Koco King.

"All right, then." Krazy Koco King said, "I suppose we'll get started now, and if anyone else joins later then... well, we'll deal with that later."
Krazy Koco King redid some simple settings of the room so that now Moongem and he were sitting in desks across from each other, with a large space in-between them. On their desks, there was now a computer screen and a keyboard.
"Ok, so now the holographic space in-between us will pretty much display to whatever we type, within certain limits (OOC: Those limits being, of course, godmodding). Watch."
Krazy Koco King began to type on his keyboard: Brian walked into the blank virtual combat room, looking perplexed. Earlier, he had received an anonymous note instructing him to meet someone here to stage a practice battle. At the moment though, he didn't seen anyone or anything other than himself and the door on the other side of the room...
In the blank space, a door appeared right in front of Krazy Koco King, swinging open. A perfect holographic, life-size replica of Brian appeared, walking into the room and looking around, seeming bewildered.
"See? Your turn. We're going to have a practice battle so I can see what you can do." Krazy Koco King said.

Moongem thought for a moment.
“Alrighty, then…It’s not much, though…” Moongem typed: Eregorn, having not much else to do on such a rainy day, wrote a note to Brian to meet her to have a practice battle. She was late, as usual, and hurried along the wet school grounds. Finally, she got to the door and making it fly open. She walked in, dripping wet, closing the door behind her. Eregorn tried to shake some water off of her.. She withdrew a pair of newly made long needles.
The door flew open, reveling a very wet life-sized Eregorn. She walked in, closing the door behind her. She shook herself, causing virtual water to fly off of her. Her hand withdrew about three needles for each hand.

Outside the classroom, x1nf3c710nx (hereby dubbed Michael), peered through the glass in the door leading inside.
"Ah, crap," he sighed. "They already started."
Quietly opening the door as to not make a disturbance, Michael subtlely slipped inside, and sat in a desk next to Moongem.
"Um... Sir?" he asked, raising his hand. "Should I wait, or do I just jump in?"

"Oh, Michael." Krazy Koco King said, "Just feel free to jump in."
Another empty desk appeared next to Moongem, set up just like hers and Krazy Koco King's.
"Go ahead." he said, "I guess now it will be both of you against me."
"Hey, Skylos told me you needed some help." Spark's voice came as he entered the door behind Brian, entering into the room.
"No... It's just Eregorn. 2 on 1 would be unfair." Brian replied.
"True, but it won't be 2 on 1 for long..." Spark replied, and as if on cue, the door behind Eregorn swung open again...
The simulator played out the events Krazy Koco King wrote for Moongem and Michael to see. The simulation paused as the door in front of two of them swung open, waiting for Michael's input to continue.

"Ah, okay," said Michael. "I see how this works."
In a mad rush, Michael started typing out the next scene.
Centhryth walked into the room, his trusty halberd in hand.
"Ah, hello Eregorn. Looks like you'll be needing some help," he smiled. He took off the upper part of his robe so he could move around in combat easier.
"Well, lets get to it, shall we?"

OOC: Hmm I'm going to let Moongem post again in response to Centhryth before we actually start.

Moongem, in response to x1nf3c710nx and his entrence for Centhryth, typed: Eregorn nodded to Centhryth, before looking back to Brian.
And, Eregorn did just that.

"All right then, I guess it's decided." Brian said, "We'll let you two go first."
Spark seemed to agree with this idea, taking his ready stance but making no move. Brian readied his wrist crossbows, loading each one with a single bolt and standing at the ready as well.
The holograms followed what Krazy Koco King typed, and said King looked at Moongem and Michael, waiting for their typing to begin.

"Alright, Eregorn. I'll take Spark if you'll take Brian..." Michael typed. "We can do this. Let's go!"
Centhryth darted towards Spark...

ooc: Oops...Sorry, I hadn't realized that you had posted anything, Krazy...
ic: Moongem began to type.
Eregorn got into a rather odd looking defensive stance. Her feet were spread out, her left arm was across her stomach, and her right arm was bent across her face. It looked like she was about to deflect something, or throw something, it was hard to tell. There seemed to be many places left open to strike however.
Ooc2: I'm planning on making a thread sometime soon that explains how she gets these needles and such. I don't really know why I decided to bring them into this battle if she hasn't even found them yet... *sigh*

Krazy Koco King's fingers began to fly almost as soon as he saw Moongem and Michael's characters begin to move.
"So one of them is charging recklessly, while the other seems to be staying back. I'm a mostly close range fighter, while Brian prefers long range. I think this works out perfectly if I engage Centhryth while Brian fires away at Eregorn." Spark thought. This strategy was made all the more easier because apparently Centhryth was dashing at him, not Brian.
Spark planned to halt Centhryth's momentum, forming four Soul Knives in between the fingers of his right hand, sending them flying towards his opponent with a swift movement of his arm. Centhryth never once altered his course, holding out his hand- a blast of what looked like pure moonlight to Spark shot out, cutting through the Soul Knives and heading straight for Spark. Spark sidestepped the beam, only to find Centhryth leaping in front of him, Darkstar heading straight for him. Spark put up both his arms in a double-armed Soul Shield, blocking the weapon from striking him.
"You're pretty good." Spark grunted.
"I'm just getting warmed up!" Centhryth replied, drawing back Darkstar. Spark had no time to react- five quick thrust rained upon his shield, the first one making a crack and the next three expanding the cracks until the shield looked like it had a spider-web across it. Then the final blow shattered the shield to bits- but Spark had time to think and retaliate. As Darkstar pierced through the shield, Spark ducked down, the attack passing over his head, and formed a Soul Axe between both his hands, slashing upwards. The Soul Axe tore through Centhryth's left shoulder. Centhryth backed away from Spark before he could attack with the Axe again- vapors of thin blue substance seemed to be rolling off the place where Spark had struck, dissolving into the air. Centhryth felt the area around his left shoulder begin to go numb, making it difficult to move it properly- not only that, but the attack had apparently drained some of his energy, making him feel fatigued as if he had been already fighting for several minutes.
Spark had no intention of giving Centhryth time to rest, though. He followed up by raising both hands and firing a double Soul Blast- two Soul Blasts combined into one- which sped towards Centhryth at high speeds.
Meanwhile, Brian raised both of his crossbows and fired the arrows in them. The arrows sped towards Eregorn in a crooked path, weaving this way and that as Brian controlled them, guiding them towards Eregorn in the most convoluted path possible in order to confuse her, and then explode them up close for maximum damage.
OOC: Sorry I didn't do so much with Brian and Eregorn, but since I don't know about Eregorn's needles and what they do, I'm letting you reveal them.

Centhryth saw the oncoming blast, and dodged it at the last minute. Parts of his attire were singed, though. Smoke began to rise from his clothing.
"That was a bit close..." gasped Centhryth. "Now it's my turn."
Centhryth stabbed the ground with Darkstar. An ornate circle appeared in the mud. As if on cue, a flash of lightning in the background lit up the school grounds. This wasn't merely a shower anymore; it was a thunderstorm. Purple light began to shine from within the symbol on the ground. Odd runes and signs began to float upward as an orb of light began forming around the tip of the halberd. The weapon faded from view, and the circle split in two. A claw could be seen reaching and tearing at the ground, escaping from from it's earthen prison.
"Rise, Crucible!" shouted Centhryth. "Let's show Spark we mean business!"
After the summoning, Centhryth and Crucible darted toward Spark. Centhryth raised his weapon and jabbed it at him, firing a dark missle...

"I actually have no idea what Crucible does since you didn't describe his powers in your post or Centhryth's bio. If you're going to summon him to attack me, at least give me some ability or abilities that I can work with." Krazy Koco King said to Michael.

"Oh!" exclaimed Michael. "I didn't realize that I forgot to describe his powers in Cen's bio. I'll fix that right now."
Michael began to type once more.
Crucible, a dark imp wielded power over water and shadow. His powers magnify if it is raining outside. He can manipulate water into a shield, and use his dark powers to poision his water based attacks. His control over shadow is his true prowess, however. When nightfall descends, he can turn invisible at will, and use stealth as his ally. He can also fly, but he cannot sustain flight for long, as his wings are rather small.

Spark promptly dodged Centhryth's dark missile, followed almost instantly by a torrent of what looked like water from Crucible, with bits of darkness floating here and there. Spark pointed his hand at the ground, Soul Energy gathering quickly in his palm- a Soul Spear erupted, extending and smashing into the ground, continuing to extend even more, raising Spark into the air and flinging him away from Centhryth and Crucible at high speeds, like a pole vault. As Spark landed, Centhryth and Crucible charged him again, but Spark held one hand out in front of him and drew his other back as if firing a bow and arrow- sure enough, Soul Energy formed into that shape. Spark aimed at Centhryth and Crucible, who stopped suddenly, waiting for Spark to fire so they could dodge it. However, this was exactly what Spark intended- he never was going to fire the Soul Arrow at them at all. Instead, he pivoted slightly to his left, firing the Soul Arrow away from Centhryth and Crucible.
It just so happened that one of Brian's arrows was passing by, aiming for Eregorn. Spark's Soul Arrow struck Brian's at its end, sending it spinning and careening in a completely different direction- straight towards Centhryth and Crucible. The arrow struck the ground at high speeds, resulting in an explosion. Centhryth and Crucible struggled to get away from the smoke in a hurry, hurtling in opposite directions- just as Spark planned. He followed Crucible out of the smoke cloud, Soul Blades formed in both hands. As Crucible landed, Spark rushed forward and stabbed the imp through his chest with both blades. In addition to the energy that suddenly left Crucible upon the stabbing, and the numbness that came along with it, Spark's Soul Blades began to glow an even brighter blue. Crucible felt even more energy being sapped from him, flowing into Spark due to the continued contact of Spark's Soul Weapons (hope that makes sense, I've explained in the Little Black Book).

"Argh!" cried Centhryth. "I can't let you do that, Spark."
Centhryth held his hands close together, as if he was focusing a power between them. An violet orb of energy appeared, and smaller spheres of energy appeared and floated towards it. Soon it was so big, he couldn't contain it merely with his hands; his arms were completely outstretched. A ring on the ground began to glow, and light began to radiate from it.
"I can't let you hurt him. I- I can't do it..."
Centhryth lowered his arms, and begain to float himself; wings outstretched to their maximum. The orb floated with him, and finally settled above him. He closed his eyes, and launched the orb toward the ground...
The result would be unknown to Centhryth. He had never used this attack in battle, and had no idea how much or how little destruction it would cause. He had never been able to muster the strength before now. Crucible, in essesnce, was a part of him. He couldn't bear to watch him suffer, to watch him bleed his power to another.
"That wasn't too much of a god-mod, was it?" asked Michael. "Sometimes I get carried away a bit. I just really like writing!" he smiled.

"No, it's quite fine. I assume that's your 'finale', right?" Krazy Koco King said, "Well, here I go then."
Well, basically, Spark was in a bind.
A very bad bind.
Before, such an attack would be easily avoidable. He'd merely go transparent, and accept the fact that he'd be unable to affect anything for the next hour. That was fine. After the hour was up he'd simply resume the fight.
No such luck, being a human now. There was very little chance he could outrun the orb. There was practically no chance he could block the orb with soul shields. There WAS no chance that he could take the hit.
So what did that leave him? Counter-attacking.
Of course, first he had to let go of Crucible. He stopped the flow of energy coming from the demon into himself, the energy adding to his own. Perhaps with Crucible's stolen energy added to his own, he could survive.
Spark shot a hand out towards the incoming orb. Most of the time, Spark's preferred method of fighting was up close while using soul blasts or waves to help every now and then. But there was no way he could attack the orb up close. So Spark channeled as much energy as he possibly could into a soul blast, shooting it from his palm.
The result was an eruption of energy equal in grandeur to the light display the orb provided, Spark's blue light clashing with the orb's violet. The two attacks collided, creating a maelstrom of blinding flashes that prevented anyone from truly seeing what went on in the clash of energy. Finally the war of energy ended abruptly as the force of the blasts exploded outwards, knocking Crucible, Centhryth, and Spark backwards. Spark hit a wall on the far side of the battlefield, sliding down the wall where he sat, stunned. The impact had certainly jarred him, but as he swayed to his feet, he knew he could still fight a little more.
He still had some Soul Energy left, but only a little. He had not used all of his energy in countering Centhryth's orb, because he didn't have time to gather it all. So, if Centhryth was still in fighting condition, it looked like Spark would have to be very conservative on his energy usage from here on...

Centhryth was knocked back into a wall. The impact was so hard, the barrier had giant cracks in it. It looked like it was about to crumble. That's not the only thing that was broken: his right wing had fractured in three different spots, making flight impossible.
Crucible was shot in a direction completely different than Spark or Centhryth. He lay crumpled on the ground. It seemed that the clash of energy had taken a lot out of the demon. The imp let loose a tiny squeal. He would be of no more use to Centhryth for the time being.
"Right..." sighed Centhryth. "It's all or nothing now."
He slowly rose to his feet. Perhaps his wing wasn't the only thing that had been broken. It didn't matter at this point; the adreneline was like morphene- numbing the wounds of battle. He called forth Darkstar once more as he made his way towards Spark for his last confrontation. They met where the energy had collided. It was dark in the room- the blast had knocked out the lights. It was now silent; the rain had stopped and the clouds had receeded. Small amounts of light began to filter through the broken window, creating a makeshift scene out of what seemed to be some holy text. Remnants of energy could be found littering the ground: the floor itself seemed to retain some from the clash and was glowing in an eerie fashion.
"No more bullsh!t," sighed Centhryth. "You are a very worthy adversary, but there can only be one victor."
"It looks like you're closer to death than I am," replied Spark with a weary smile. "But neither of us can keep this up for much longer."
"I've already 'died' once, Spark. I am unafraid of death."
"Well, let's go!"
