A dutch fighter by the name of Melvin manhoef, A Muay Thai expert, an awesome fighter.

To give you guys a better idea....
He put on a frankly amazing Light-heavyweight title match at Cage Rage 15, he is defending the title against against Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos. A slugfest, I believed was better than Forrest/Bonnar from TUF1

If anyone is interested PM me, I will tell you where you can find the vid, I can't post it here due to copyright stuff.

He's a little dude(5"8) but man hes aggresive. None of his fights going past 2nd round. Would be a dangerous striker in the light heavy or even middle weight division, submissions seem to be his weakness though.

Also, I think the reason why he isn't in the ufc has something to do with the fact that hes an ex-convict

You realize advocating an illegal act is just as bad as publicly participating in one, no?

Thanks for the info, though. I might look into him. I'm interested in seeing if some great fighters from outside the UFC can draw money without signing a contract.

For sure agree that his fight with Cyborg is one of the best fights and slugfests ever. And I for sure agree that the dude is one of the most vicious and aggressive strikers in the sport...but his ground game is still entirely too weak to hang with the elite right now. I think he'd make a nice addition to the UFC middleweight division no doubt, and would likely put the stamp on quite a few guys, but once he faces someone like Ricardo Almeida who will take it to the ground and work subs, he's pretty much done. Given the style match-up though, I'd love to see a fight between him and Anderson Silva.

I'm not advocating the breaking copyright laws, I'm just saying if anyone wants to watch the fight, I know which website to send you to for the vid. I didn't post the URL here, out of respect for the board rules.

Point in fact, I think the video is actually supplied by Cage Rage themselves, but it's not on the Cage Rage website that the vid is located at.

He was way too tired at the end and his punches are wild.

Just so you know it still may be advocating a copyright infringement. You cannot offer to send out the link on the board via PM, either. I know that you meant no harm, but I just wanted to let you know. I'm gonna look out for him, though.

I think we all can go on with who UFC needs to hire. My old mma trainer Tim Stout is fighting May 16 against Brandon Melindez in Boulder,Colorado. If Tim wins, he has a contract automaticly with Elite XC. He would have been on TUF multiple times but he "didn't have the personality they were looking for". He made it to the like final 3 people before the cut.
He has fought UFC vet Pat Healy and Luigi Fiorivanti (Who is supposed to be fighting Deigo Sanchez sometime soon).

I checked Manhoef out. This guy is an incredibly fast striker with great takedown and mounting skills, and appears to be in amazing shape. He would be a great addition to the UFC.

Manhoef is good, his fioghty with Cyobrg is awesome, but he need's to work on his ground game.

Also, please remind not to use the internet when drunk from now on.

My spelling is atrocious in that post.
