Lame title, I know.
--------
The world of Favodar has always been peaceful. Millions and Millions of people have been able to run their lives without fear of war or oppression by the governments. The world is free of racism, discrimination, and inequality (Or just about). Everyone is happy and healthy.
But now, a new group has emerged, the Aldori. Made up of powerful sorcerers and sorceresses, this group no longer maintains the desire to keep peace, but rather rule the land themselves.
Another group of Sorcerers, the Ekari, oppose the Aldori. Although the Ekari remained secretive for thousands of years, they were always the ones who kept the peace in the land. Their job was to protect the world, not rule it.
However, a high-ranking sorcerer did not think that way. He convinced many of the Ekari to join him in an attempt to overthrow the Ekarian high council, the leaders of the group. They attempted, but did not succeed. Separating into their own group, they have begun attacks on the cities and villages of the world.
Both powerful, and both deadly. One good, one evil. Who will win?
Layouts:
Ekari- The Ekari are a group of magical people from around the world, about 130,000 in population. Most have very few powers, nothing amazing. From each region, they select one person to be their "Ahk'ed" (Representative). In a group of 300, 5 are selected to the High Council. Despite the formality, the Assembly (of 300) have very little powers, and they're well aware of it. They meet once a month to discuss issues, but have very little roles otherwise. The High Council is in charge of the Ekari. Each member is quite powerful, and in charge of certain areas of the "government". A Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor are appointed. [Note: Despite all the formalities, there's not a lot of government in this. You don't need to memorize all this]
Aldori- The leader of this group relies on three of his advisors, and his second-in-command. He has separated the remaining members, and those who joined him (3,000), into 11 cells. Each Director is a member of the "Board", as well as four other members that deal with other issues. The leader has all the real power, advisors only having influence, the second-in-command rarely needed, and the directors only have power in their respective cells.
Individual countries: Each country has their own government, usually a monarchy. Many countries are small in population. (Averaging several hundred-thousand. Total Population of world: ~300,000,000)

Magical Skills: Fire and Earth (Growing stuff)
History: Alex was brought up in a family with a mother who was an Ekari, and a father who had no magical powers. Despite his non-conventional parents (Ekari usually marry other Ekari), he was raised and loved by both, and accepted into the Ekarian way of life with the same level of respect as everyone else. His mother originally served on the Ekari High Council, even being Deputy Chancellor herself, leading Alex to desire a position of the same power. After his mother died in a battle, and his father succumbed to an illness, Alex was left in the care of the Ekarian Chancellor, an old friend of his parents. He was taught many new skills, and was a bright teenager. At the age of 25, he was selected by the Ekari of his region to serve in the Ekari Assembly. From there, at 30, he was a member of the High Council, and at 40, chosen as the Chancellor.

Name: Isabelle
Age:19
Gender: Female
Description: Tall, slender. Straight, dark red hair, kept shoulder length. Dark purple eyes.
Clothing:
Ekari/Aldori/Citizen: Aldori
Job: Spy/Runner/Messenger for the Aldori.
Personality: Isabelle doesn't talk much, doesn't sleep much, and doesn't trust other people much. She is very fast, and believes that you should trick the person that tries to trick you. She is very fast and agile in battle. Although not very intelligent, she is very street-smart and is great at making plans.
Magical Skills: Wind, Stealth.
History: Isabelle's life had just begun when it was cut off entirely. She was 14. Her family hadn't been rich, but they were a little better off then others. She walked out of school, walking to meet her brother at the corner, as usual. As they walked together, talking about school and their days, they suddenly stopped. From above the surrounding houses, they could see a thick, black stream of smoke curling into the sky. They ran aroudn the corner to see that their house had been ravaged, some of the walls had been burned, if they were there at all. Most of the house had been obliterated, and their parents were dead.
They were forced to live off the streets, learning how to pick people's pockets and get off easy by the use of a slick tongue. Curiously, it always seemed that Isabelle had an easier time running away and being stealthy then her brother did. Then one day, when Isabelle was 16, her brother was killed in a fight over territory. Isabelle killed the people that had killed her brother. Afterwards, she had a strange feeling. She had liked killing those people. She had liked the feeling of revenge. She didn't know that the fight was a test, and that the Aldori had been watching her for a long time. They gave her the option of joining them, and she did. They helped her realize that the reason she was so fast to get away was that he used to wind to speed herself, and she used magic to aid her in her stealing. She became a spy for the Aldori, and has been ever since.

He left home at 17, and was recruited to become a spy for the Aldori, changing his name from "Andrew Norton" to "Matt Morrison". "What are our options?" Alex asked the council, whom he had arranged an emergency gathering of.
The four council members looked at one another, unsure of how to answer the question.
Earlier in the day, one of the top Ekari Cabinet Members, Lord Feradon, who was in charge of monitoring security matters, was found dead in his home. Had the stab wound been the only sign, it could've been anyone. But the vines growing out from the slit confirmed, not a natural thing, confirmed it was someone with magical abilities. No person in the Ekari assembly had the specific powers to do it (Growing plants in blood is quite difficult to do), and regular Ekari didn't know who Feradon was, meaning that a member of the High Council or the Aldori had to have killed him. (Only Assembly and above know who the "Cabinet" members are) Alex was quite confident it wasn't a member of the council.
"Well... The Aldori haven't claimed responsibility yet... That doesn't mean that they won't." Amelia, a younger sorceress, suggested. "After all, it's only been a short period of time."
Alex looked at her, a little disappointed. "Unless one of you did it, obviously it was the Aldori. What I'm wondering is what do we do in response?"
Amelia sensed Alex's annoyance, but continued with her statements. "We need to appoint someone to fill Lord Feradon's spot... Then we need to take an immediate retaliation against the Aldori. I would recommend one of their supply centers."
Dante, another council member, piped in. "Why a supply center, why not go for them directly?"
Amelia paused, wondering if it would come to him, which didn't. "We only have the location of two cells, out of... We don't even know how many. Whilst shutting down one, or even two, would be effective, it could alert the others and completely change their locations and could make them harder to find. If we hit a supply center, it cripples them, and doesn't effect their security, as it shows no indication we know where a cell is."
Dante stayed quiet, but Alex took the opportunity to speak.
"Who do you suggest will lead a group of Ekari, and which center do you suggest, Amelia?" He asked, not entirely agreeing with her plan.
She stayed quiet, Alex thinking her silence was admitting defeat. Just as Alex opened his mouth to speak, she answered.
"Me." She said. The other council members said nothing, but just looked at her. "I'll lead a select number of my group, and we'll destroy the Sidotan Supply Port."
In addition to having extra powers, each Council member was given an "army" of two hundred people who were trained in higher magic, making them more powerful than your average Ekari. Although there were more than 1000 peace keeping members, they were the highest trained, and were loyal. Each group was required to follow their leader's orders without question. The only stopper was that most missions had to be approved by Alex or a member of the Security Cabinet, to prevent council members from doing anything that would be in violation of the Ekari laws.
Alex finally spoke up. "So be it," was all he said before standing up, signaling the meeting was over, and the appointing of a new Security member was being put off until later.

Jackon stood at the entrence to his cave/hut. He was staring at a few hunters, likely searching for lynxes. One was much too strong to use for experiments. The other, thin, would be perfect. He climbed out of the small ditch that hid the entrance to his home. The hunters were idiots, heading in the direction of the Dark Port. The Dark Port was a small bay that was surrounded by a wooden wall, likely a pirate town. Locals claimed it was the base of some group of anarchists, but that was foolish.
Jackon crouched, and drank a smell vial-full of green liquid. His form blurred slightly, and he crept forward.
Thin hunter: These hills are a disadvantage. They lead right up to it.
Stout hunter: I heard that they use a small did around the way as a road. Might be a easy way.
Thin Hunter: Yeah, I heard that too. I also heard they have men standing all down that road. We'll probably be seen.
These were Scouts, likely from the collective sent to capture and torture him. They knew he was there, their voodoo created mirrors that let them see him. But no, he wouldn't let them take him to the crag-tower. He would scare them away, and the collective would be staved off for a while. He dashed out in front of them, still blurred.
Jackon: *yelling* I swhall destroy the collective! The Crag-Tower shall Fall! Go to your temples and telll your masters that I shall not die easily!

Matt, sent on a high-level, high-risk mission, was asked to infiltrate the Ekari as a person of higher magic. He had done so and sent a messenger back to tell his superiors that the Sidotan Supply Port was going to be attacked. Earlier on, Matt had jumped a person of higher magic, did his Mr. Freeze trick, and stole the clothes, thus beginning the infiltration.
OOC: "Mr Freeze trick" refers to how Victor Fries (Mr. Freeze) "died": electrocuted and frozen simultaneously.

Isabelle moved swiftly through the underbrush, away from the Ekari headquarters, the message running through her head. The Sidotan Supply Port was going to be attacked, the time was unannounced. She had been sent by Matt to send the message on. She hastened her pace even further, using the wind to speed her feet. She had a reputation for head spy to keep, and this would be no easy job: She was deep in Ekari territory, and they would like nothing more then to kill her. She neared the edge of the woods, staying far enough away that she wouldn't be seen by anyone that may have happened to be standing near there.
After about an hour, she neared the place where her message was to be recieved, a small, abandoned farmhouse. She crouched low behind a bush, and pitched a rock through an already-broken window on the south side. The rock was returned, thrown back through the window towards the sun, and Isabelle moved closer. Next was to determine who she would be meeting with. She cupped her hand over her mouth and made the sound of a sparrow-her signature. When a woodpecker was returned, she walked closer and slid into a gap in the foundation. She crawled for a moment and came through a gaping hole in the kitchen floor. She crouched, out of the view of the windows, and crawled across the floor into a run-down living room filled with decrepit furniture to wait.

Jackon dashed through the woods, shouts an spells exploding behind him. The tall scout was chasing him, the other had gone to report the occurence. A spell had hit jackon in the arm, dislocating it. He was running out of energy. As he rounded the bend, he saw it. A farmhouse concealed behind trees. Before the scout rounded the corner, Jackon was down the concealed road. Even though he saw the scout pass the path, he continued running due to the hounds the scouts had conjured. He bashed through the door and tripped over the woman hiding inside, impaling part of his staff in his leg.

And Isabelle was out of there. That was all it took. She was back through the hole in the kitchen before Jackon even saw her hair. She was out so fast, Jackon thought he had tripped over nothing. Isabelle was outside around the opposite side of the house as the scout. She crouched under the dense, unkempt thicket, completely covered, while using her stealth magic to remain perfectly still and silent.

The one Isabelle was supposed to meet had himself hidden in air, invisible to the unassisted eye. He stood in a corner, watching the happenings of the old farmhouse.
"So... we finally meet Jackon Romninson..." a seemingly disembodied voice spoke quietly to him.
A floating dragon head materialized itself in front of the crazed hermit, and the door slammed suddenly behind him with a gust of wind.
"You've been quite a nuisance to the Aldori..." the voice said, talking through the dragon head.

Amelia slowly crept up with her group of fifteen people. Ahead of them, only a quarter of a mile away, was a large building, poorly lit, but well guarded. Between several wooden towers and patrolling guards, it was obvious their job wasn't going to be as easy as originally had been planned.
"Major... Take the alpha group and stay here. I'll take retov and see if we can find a less-guarded entrance." She said to the highest ranking member of the group.
She motioned to five members, the retov group, and they nodded, following her. They left the small forest that they had been hiding in, their movements being hidden by the dark night. The moon was bright, but they took care to avoid it.
At first, it looked as though the building was guarded the same way all around: On tower on each end, and two smaller ones next to the door in the middle, as well as one guard between each set of towers. However, upon further inspection, the rear-facing towers had no guards in them, apparently just to make it seem that they were guarded. Only two men were patrolling the back portion, and due to the shape of the building, it put them out of range of other towers and guards.
"That's where we go." Amelia said, pointing at the barren section. To ensure that someone could get back to the council in the event of a failure, Mia chose not to have the alpha team follow them.
She stared at the door, wondering when would be the best time to run to it, and whether she should distract or knock out the guards.
She folded her hand into a fist, and closed her eyes. Without saying anything, she opened her balled hand, and floating above her palm was a small ball, yellow in color. Inside was what looked like electricity, and gave off a small amount of light. She faced her palm at the door, needing confirmation that there was nobody in the towers. She quickly flicked the tips of her fingers, and the ball flew from her palm at great speed.
Nothing fired at it, nor was it seen, but it hit the door, or at least... Close to the door.
"Damn it..." Amelia said under her breath. A purple-like glow came from the door, as if there was a shining piece of glass over it. "A force field would explain why there's little security back here... And the energy needed to produce this is immense, which means the whole building couldn't be covered, hence the towers up front."
As of that moment, she had a plan, which she hoped would work to her ability, and not result in her death.
"Get back to the Alpha team... Wait there two hours, then get back to camp" She instructed the rest of the group.
As they nodded, she stood up and walked forward, her hands in the air.
"Shekala! (I surrender)" She shouted to the guards, who turned on their spots and looked at her. Being in Eselsia, she thought it fit to use their language, which proved to be a smart move, as it was the only language the guards understood.
"Keep your hands in the air and turn around!" The first guard shouted in Eselsian. He walked toward her, the other guard with a dagger in his hand, poised to stab or throw it. Although they both posessed magical abilities, they were far better with actual weapons, which still wasn't saying much.
"I have come to surrender myself to the Aldori. I have information your commander may find interesting and helpful." She said fluently.
The guards said nothing, but walked her inside, the second guard keeping his blade pressed against her side the whole time. They walked to a set of oak doors, outside of which was another guard.
"Tell Enev that we have a prisoner" The first man told the guard. The guard proceeded inside and came outside a second later.
"Bring her in" He commanded, eyeing the attractive Amelia.
Inside the large office was a man in odd attire behind a large wooden desk. "You may leave us... I will question this ignorant b*tch... If she gives us valuable information, then perhaps I will spare her life."
Amelia's eyes widened quickly, a hint of fear in them. Her plan wasn't going exactly as she had hoped...

"Run!!" Amelia yelled as she sprinted from the building. Her team members looked at her, wondering why she wasn't bothering to try and be subtle.
Their question was answered a moment later, when from behind her, the building erupted in a ball of fire, smoke bellowing out from the interior. The guards around the building were thrown from their spots, and those inside- impossible to have survived.
Without leaving them a moment to understand what just happened, she took off, running for the other team to get them to leave, their mission complete.
Later, at a council meeting...
"Well done, Amelia... May I ask what happened after you surrendered yourself?" Alex asked, for once being grateful to a service provided by Amy.
She smiled, rather proud of herself, not being any sort of military expert.
"Well, we were talking in his office. He thought he was being all tough, binding me to a chair and sitting on his desk with this stare... After a couple minutes of small talk, during which he actually believed my lies, he seemed to have forgotten that there was a letter opener on his desk. He also didn't know that I could do whatever I wanted with it." She chuckled. "Needless to say, it wasn't hard to get out of the chair with a blade. That thing was so sharp, a simple swipe at the bindings cut them, and then a third slash rendered him... Permanently indisposed."
Alex wasn't a huge fan of killing people, but the head of an important Aldori location wasn't someone to tangle with.
"How did you blow up the place?" Another council member asked.
Amy looked at him. "Apparently, their chemical area was quite flammable... A fifteen foot long piece of fuse gave me enough time to get out of there." She smiled, knowing the rest of the story had been told.
"Well, as we're still waiting to hear back from several people on the cabinet position, I guess we can call this a night." Alex said.

She crept inside the house again, and came upon Kaishan waiting for her. "Can I kill him?" She said, indicating Jackon, who was writhing in his "box".

"No" Kai stated flatly. "We'll keep him in high security. He may be useful. I need your report. Now" he said, speaking in a more commanding tone.

Sorry for not posting anything yet Milo. It's fairly difficult to start my character. I should hopefully have something up in a few days or so.

"He's the reason my report is probably useless. They're planning to attack the Sidotan port, but he delayed everything, and they're probably already done. I can feel it." Isabelle said in a disgusted voice. Anyone lower than her in rank would probably have been killed on the spot for talking that way to Kaishan, but Isabelle wasn't concerned. She knew they needed her.

Suddenly, Jackon was lucid again. He lay on the floor, panting and muttering something to himself. He removed a bottle from his robe and began to drink it, causing the wound to slowly heal. He sat up and removed another potion from his robe, a clear sparkleing liquid. He crawled over to the nearest chair and poured the potion on it, muttering "Have life and smite the Collective." The chair began to move, and charged the two. Jackon tried to stand, but failed and fell to the floor.

"...Pathetic."
Isabelle lashed her arm out behind her, and the chair was thrown back against the wall with such force that the wall cracked and the legs fell off the chair. The pieces fell to the floor where they ceased moving, and Jackon was suddenly lifted into the air. He wobbled around, trying to get bearings, until Isabelle flicked her fingers and he was sent into the wall as well.
"He's now posing a threat. Can I kill him now? Please?" Isabelle pleaded.

Jackon ripped another potion from his robe. Negecting to open it, he threw it at the ground. The vial contained a weak smoke-solution. The green gas filled the room, providing cover as Jackon began to enchant a small wodden figurine that he carried. Small jagged razers poked from the small carved warrior. Jackon threw it at Isabelle.

Kai snapped his fingers and everything halted for a brief moment. Then a fierce wind blew everything to the wall, smashing any loose furniture. The smoke blew out of the house with the wind, and the carved warrior stuck into the wall, trying to move around.
"I've had enough of this" he said, walking to the exit. "Do with him what you will Isabelle..."
And he was gone.

"Yes." Isabelle said with venomous delight. She turned to Jackon and said, "I hope you have enjoyed your pathetic existance, seeing as it is now over. You will not again meddle in affairs that are not your own. Goodbye, loony." Her hand twitched, and Jackon was once again in the air, spinning increasingly fast. He slammed into the walls, shaking the house with the force. Isabelle tossed him around like a ragdoll, giving him no mercy; he was suddenly hurled into a corner headfirst. Isabelle waved her hand, and the air was instantly turned into spears around him, piercing him all over. He quickly lost consciousness and his head lolled.
The deed was done. Isabelle left, disappearing like sand thrown into the wind.

OOC: I hope it's obvious, but I didn't kill him.

John stood in the small cramped tavern, the smoke and smell filling the already dirty place. He sighed, looking down at the scared barkeeper, who had hired him earlier that day.
“Look, you hired me to get rid of some evil spirits or something. That was in the letter you sent me.” John said to the cowering barkeep, pulling the letter from his side satchel.
“Exactly! Please, get rid of them!” the barkeeper said, still in fear of John.
“Those “spirits” still have bodies.”
“So?”
“So, you think I’m dumb enough to kill some men who’ve been bothering you.’
“No, I-“
“Save it.” John walked angrily from the bar, leaving the pay on the counter and the man on the floor.

No one had dared question Matt, of course, they didn't expect to have a spy among their ranks, hidden.
