Let's play some Pokémon Jeopardy! Basically, take Jeopardy and replace it with Pokémon questions and you'll get this game. Standard Jeopardy rules where apply.

1. Like in Jeopardy, there will be 3 contestants. The first 3 people to post get the spots for the 2-round game; after that the winner will compete against the next 2 in the next game, and so on. Okay, it's early but it's been well over 24 hours since I asked the question and I want to keep moving. Let's dissect the question:

- This suggests that Porygon-Z must be countered by this Pokémon, pretty obvious.

- This suggests that Porygon-Z's counter does better in the sand, thus leaving only Rock types.

Great Special Defense implies >100 base, I think. You know, great. As in not Tyranitar and especially not Aggron. That's who I was trying to eliminate here.

key resistances,
Meaning he must resist everything PorygonZ normally carries. Rocks that resist Tri Attack / Dark Pulse / Hyper Beam would probably have a secondary Steel typing.

and decent Special Attack.
This is solely to eliminate Bastiodon, who sucks balls. This should leave one Rock/Steel type: Probopass! Yup, this lovable but useless giant nose creature is one of the best Porygon-Z counters in the game. Since he's so uncommon, running Hidden Power Fighting just for him is kind of a waste.

I have to dispute that Porygon-Z counter question. The wording of the question does not indicate that the counter gets any bonus from Sandstorm like Rock types do, just that it works in Sandstorm. Ground and Steel types also resist Sandstorm, making Registeel a correct answer as well.

I noticed Probopass but answered Registeel due to the 4x weakness Probopass has to HP Fighting that is commonly carried by Porygon-Z.

As for the rare HP Fighting, you can make the same argument that Registeel being 2x weak to it doesn't make him a reliable counter. Also, Registeel doesn't use his Special Attack to counter Porygon-Z; he mostly uses Hammer Arm for him. Probopass, on the other hand, only really has Special offense so the fact I mentioned that in particular should help to eliminate Registeel.

I'll give you back the points you lost though, I guess. Maybe.

That's why Triple Kick, Hitmontop's signature move, is a good option. Hitmontop has high Special Defense, Intimidate for Focus Punch, or Technician for Triple Kick. Also, note I only said "his" and that I said "The FIRST defensive Fighting type". Hariyama is the best T-Tar counter ever, but Hitmontop was the first defensive Fighting type.

Hariyama also has no signature moves.
