Is there a way to play old Lucas Arts games like Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, and the Monkey Island series on an XP computer?

Some might have patches, if not you can always look for tips over at NT Compatible (http://www.ntcompatible.com/compatibility.html)'s website. The Lucas Arts' forum might help too, sadly most of those games have been forgotten on XP :(

Full Throttle...that takes me back. Too bad I got a gimped copy of that.
In my search of trying to get old school games running on XP, I've found that anything older than Windows can do compatibility for is basically Windows 3.1 or DOS. I'd say your best bet would be to try using DOSBox. I know this won't work with MechWarrior, and I tried it with Betrayal in Antara but it emulated WAY too fast.

ScummVM should do you nicely. It's a very nice little program that lets you play many old adventure games on XP and Vista, there are builds for other formats, as you'll see on the download page. But the program is solid and the gamelist is ever-expanding. Get stuck in. :D
Grab it here: www[dot]scummvm[dot]org. Can't post URLs yet, I only joined up to tell you this, anyway. :d

Yeh your best bet is ScummVM or DOSBox but I think ScummVM only plays games programed in Scumm (mostly point+click adventures such as Monkey Island) but DOSBox however can play practically any DOS game.
