does anyone know if you have a pokemon w/ synchronize n use rest, will the opponent fall asleep?

Thats a good question but i think no because U'd b putting urself and no one else was directly effected. So the only one sleep is U.

what about if ur pokemon had insomnia, would it go to sleep then heal then wake up?
or would it just not work?

Rest fails on Pokémon with Insomnia. If you use Rest on a Synchroniser, the opponent will not fall asleep.
