I really hope Sylvia loses this one. He's sort of retard savant and that's "respectable" I guess but I think he's a goofy bastard and I'm glad he's out of UFC.

I just can't for the life of me imagine a circumstance in which Sylvia could win this one.
I've never been impressed by Sylvia though, he just seems like a big strong idiot. Sometimes thats all you need but other times you need to be smart, and if the Nogueira or Couture fights are any indication, a solid strategy can beat Sylvia's raw power relatively easily. And say what you will about Fedor, but he is good at following his game plan.

Fedor's kinda boring at times, but he has a sound strategy and can execute it like few others...
Plus I think Sylvia's an overrated, boring guy.
This fight could wind up being very uninteresting, actually...
The scheduled Fedor Emelianenko vs. Tim Sylvia match has officially been moved from Dallas, TX to the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. The fight remains slated for 7/19. Dave Meltzer reports that the California State Athletic Commission approved the date today.

I didn't realize that this was an "Affliction" event. So they're not just about clothing anymore, huh? I'm pretty siked about Matt Lindland is on the card as well.
