I want to find more bands that have a female singer like Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Evanescence, Flyleaf, and Vagiant for example. I like hard rock and metal. Anyone know of any other rock/metal bands with a female lead singer? If so, can you list all of them that you know of?

Within Temptation. The Heart of Everything is a great album, though you may have to import their cds... danish symphonic metal.
if you're feeling daring, try Arch Enemy. watching an Arch Enemy video with Angela Gossow doing vocals is somewhat surreal.

Therion is symphonic metal with a lot of female vocals. You also have:
Ayreon, which usually has a prominent female vocalist. I would suggest The Human Equation. (Opera Metal)
The Walls of Jericho (Metalcore)
Mostly Autumn (really good progressive rock with folk influences)
My Bloody Valentine (They are actually dream pop, but you may like them)

After Forever and Leaves' Eyes are a couple more metal bands with female singers.

If you like Metal than you should get into the Modern Metal scene. Wolfmother, High on Fire, Witchcraft, and The Sword are all good for starters. They take a lot from metals roots but convey it through tracks of a new age sounding guitar.
Note: These bands don't have a female lead singer. They just kick ass.

You sir, sound like you need to listen to Die Mannequin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Mannequin)
They're rock, not quite as high-flying as the bands you mentioned, they aren't aiming to sound epic. If you like bands such as Wolfmother or Hole, you should give an ear to Die Mannequin.
I'd suggest listening to "Saved By Strangers" and "Lonely Of A Woman" as sample tracks.

Her screaming vocals leave a lot to be desired, but her singing is downright angelic. The music is heavy, but catchy. It's not blazing a ton of new trails, but it's some good music, I really dig their material.

Without Face (http://www.myspace.com/withoutface) should also be on your 'things to check out' list... gothic & prog overtones, dual male/female vocals... not bad all round.

I hear that To-Mera are getting pretty big in the tampax metal stakes.

That's insane- it's like watered down metal/funk interspersed with synths, an English woman who sings a bit like Bjork and cheesy futuristic guitar solos. Geek metal at its most insipid.
