I don't know what my sixth pokemon should be in my team. I have sweepers and walls, but I don't know if I should use a cleric, hazer, etc. So far, this is my team.

Electivire@???
Adamant nature
Ice Punch
Thunderpunch
Earthquake
Cross Chop

Physical sweeper. Knows Ice Punch to block off ground types, Thunderpunch for STAB, you know the deal with this moveset...

Zangoose@Choice Scarf
Jolly nature
Shadow Claw
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Ice Beam

Another Physical sweeper, with Ice Beam to fight off any fighting types that may switch in.

Tyranitar@Choice Specs
Modest nature
Dark Pulse
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Focus Punch

A nice surprise to people expecting a physical Tyranitar. This special sweeper knows Thunderbolt to fight off water types and Focus Punch is there so Blissey, Snorlax, and the fellow T-Tar can be taken care of.

Hypno@???
Calm nature
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Nasty Plot
Thunder Wave/Hypnosis/Light Screen

Special wall that can still dish out some pain. I've always liked Hypno, so I found a way to stick him into my team. Still deciding on the last move, though. Thunder Wave for paralysis, Hypnosis for sleep, or Light Screen for more defense.

Forretress@???
Impish nature
Gyro Ball
Earthquake
Spikes
Rapid Spin

Gyro Ball for heavy hitting, Rapid Spin for getting rid of opposing Spikes, and Earthquake for fire types that want to change in.

So give me some advice on what my final Pokemon should be so I can start getting into the competitive battling game.

This probably belongs in Competitive, but I'll give you some pointers. Shadow Ball on Hypno only hits other Psychics and some ghosts harder than Psychic; HP Fighting is much more useful. Hypnosis in slot 4 sounds fun.

Not a lot of Fighting types are weak to Ice, and Infernape/Hariyama resist it, so I'd run Return there for STAB.

your weak to ground. 3/5 pokemon. perhaps a flying type? or Azleaf would work with levitate.

azleaf @ life orb
Modest/timid/naive nature
EVs: 252 sp.att, 252 spee, 4 hp

Explosion
Flamethrower
psychic
...

and some other move i can't remember

It's actually 2/5 (Forry is Bug/Steel), but Levitators are always nice. By the way Relaxed is better for Gyro Ball Forretress.

Gengar bites your neck and says "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOR TEAM OR ILL EAT YOU". He's got Levitate, an immunity to Fighting, and 4x Resists bug, all things your team will like. Will-o-wisp is also good, as is a nice heavy hitter like he is.

Question: how does putting Ice Beam on your Zangoose help fend off Fighters? Oh, and Choice + Swords Dance = kinda meh. Try:

Leftovers, Jolly Nature 252 Speed 252 Attack

Close Combat
Night Slash
Swords Dance
Taunt

I like this. Night Slash/Shadow Ball from Emerald (go hicrit and the fact that is still hits Gengar .. let alone supereffective). Close Combat hits mad stuff just because.

Anyway, Gengar is godly. Mad resistances except for OHNORUN Psychic and Ghost. Dark is actually a pain but that's well worth being able to switch in on anyone's Close Combat and laugh.

Azelf's 4th move is Thunderbolt. He's godly and I love using him.

I'm going to change Ice Beam to Return on Zangoose and get rid of the Choice Scarf.

Probably going to go with Gengar

Gengar@Black Sludge
Modest nature
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Hypnosis
Focus Blast
