The Piano Man

So I discovered them this past St. Patrick's Day, and haven't looked back. I went and bought all of their newest CD, "Float", and "Drunken Lullibies", along with select tracks from their live album, and a few from "Whiskey On Sunday".
God damn, they're good.
I find it odd that most people either love this new album, or hate it. First, people see it as more tame than their previous outings, though I fail to really see it. The only song without the typical Flogging Molly energy is the title track, "Float", but that is the best song on the album.
Their other stuff is very good, and the energy and noise they bring is very refreshing as the last band I listened to nonstop was Dave Matthews Band.
Irish Punk is really, really good. Out of the main three: Dropkick Murphy's, Flogging Molly, and The Pogues, who is your favorite?
Without exploring a great deal of the other bands, I think I can safely assert that Flogging Molly is my favorite.
However this is a great genre, and if there are some reccomendations that any Pogues fans or Dropkick Murphy fans would like to make, I'd be more than happy to take you up on that.
I am going to Ireland this summer for the first time, and I am really excited. And I will surely bring along the full Flogging Molly discogrophy.
