need a good moveset for my blazegon (my flygon's nickname).
Impish Nature
ATTACK-196
DEFENSE-192
SP. ATTACK-147
SP. DEFENSE-154
SPEED-214
MOVES- DRAGON CLAW, CRUNCH, PROTECT, EARTHQUAKE
I don't like it,protect was a desperate move.

Just teach him these moves and let him hold Lefties (he needs the HP regain)
Dragon Claw, Steel Wing/Rock Slide, Earthquake, Roost
I'd guess that he's a level 70 about... his defensive stats don't look good, and they won't look much better, that why I'd give him Roost.

Uh, Steel Wing is utterly pointless on Flygon. Everything hit by it is harder hit by Earthquake. EQ / Dragon Claw are necessary for a physical set. Third move can be Fire Punch to hit the only things that resist both EQ and Dragon Claw for Super-effective (Bronzong and skarmory). Fourth move could be Screech to force switches in competitive and act like a swords dance in game, or you could run Roost for healing or Substitute for prediction.

well you can go with this i like it alot
Flygon@choice scarf
Adament i think not sure though
252 atk/136 spd/rest in sp. atk (this out speeds choice scarf hera i believe)

I like $uper$imon's move set, but you don't need both dragon claw and draco meteor. Replace one with roost, and maybe switch u-turn for swords dance.

my flygon is on 85, you can tell by the stats. my bad, didn't mention it earlier.

Personnally stats dont meen any thing seeing as a ev trained pokemon is the way to go and all have set stats. Draco meteor is there so you can kill things as a hit and run poke. U-turn for scouting

What about trying a Jolly nature?
Give it a quick claw and: Fissure, Earthquake, Dragon Breath, and either Stone Edge or Rock Slide. (Rock Slide to work along with Dragon Breath.)
If you don't like that moveset, you could go with something like Roost, Protect, Toxic, and Earthquake, and let it hold Leftovers...
Meh... just a thought.

Lets just leave it as a thought
OHKO moves should almost never be used. also why dragon breath? Its not very strong and is a special move. Also how would rock slide work better then stone edge?
Flygon does not have any buisness toxistalling. It gets killed far to easy from an ice attack.

accuracy?
i agree, that fissure set was bad. just sayin, im not as big on stoe edge as everyone else seems to be because of the accuracy, id almost rather rock slide on alot of things

For a decent Flygon set, you're going for either Earthquake, Stone Edge, Dragon Claw, and Fire Punch with a Choice Band, or a mixed set with Life Orb, or a Screech set with Substitute. I wouldn't advise the Scarf set, there's plenty of stuff that Scarfs better than Flygon, and he could use the boost to his offensive powers offered by Choice Band and Life Orb in order to avoid being entirely outclassed by Garchomp (although, Flygon does have two advantages over Garchomp in that he gets Fire Punch to use over Fire Fang, and Levitate), or the utility in a team that likes SR/Spikes/TS that is offered by Screech.

The Scarf set was designed back in earlier DP as a way to kill Salamence and Garchomp in one hit with Draco Meteor and still have a little power on the physical side. Then Salamence and more frequently Garchomp started using Choice Scarf, kinda defeating the purpose of it.
If you're going to use Flygon, use him to so something Salamence and Garchomp can't do as well, like Screeching or Roost/Life Orb or something.

i recommend you use a flygon that is adamant with a description that says "loves to eat" because attack and hp go up faster.... moveset...i recommend dragonbreath, dig, hyper beam, and fissure, fissure can be learnt by getting your trapinch up to lvl 89 without evolving
SuperSimon

actually when it says loves to eat it is talking about IVs it does not make attack and HP rise faster. Also Im sorry but that Moveset is horrible. Fissure is a no. You never use OHKO moves unless your name is Articuno. Also Hyper beam and Hyper beam like moves should not be used. (I know about P-Z Chris) Lastly Dig? Are you serious? Your asking to be masacred by Earhtquake.

Dragonbreath, Dig, Hyper Beam, Fissure? What? Anyway, try:
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Fire Fang (stupid Bronzong)
Roost/Substitute
With Life orb, you can more than make up for the power that it doesn't have over Garchomp and Salamence. Roost can help you live through way more stuff than Flygon usually would and Substitute helps you both get around Will O' Wisp and predict those silly Ice Beams and Ice Punches a little better.

Not that I agree with the use of Dig, but I believe Levitate still protects against EQ underground. For some reason.

True. Still, that is a hilarious crummy moveset, sorry.

What???
I'm sorry, TWO Special moves not named Draco Meteor on a Physical Attacker? Sigh. At least this is a useable moveset that helps with both Bronzong and Skarmory.
Sub is actually kind of good on higher speed pokemon but it'll kind of backfire a couple of times because he's already immune to Thunder Wave. Roost is a little better, but it kind of doesn't help that he has a 4x weakness. Take your pic on how to die less slowly, I guess...
