Heavens it's been a while since I've been here, like three months almost. If this is not where I should post this, sorry mods... it's been a while.
Okay. So I have these two Lapras' both of which I'm getting ready to EV train. One of them is Physical and the other is Special. For both of those... what would be the best EV break-down and movesets for them? Btw, the Physical Lapras has the nature that ups Attack, and lowers Speed (can't remember what the name of it is), because I was thinking of having Curse and Avalanche on it. The Special Lapras is Modest (I think), ups Sp Attack, and lowers Attack.

Cursing Lapras can run 252 HP / 60 Atk / 196 SpD, since that boosts SDef (which you aren't boosting), and it gives you some initial power to boost with Curse. The Special Attacker can run 164 HP / 92 Def / 252 SpA to take hits and dish them out.

lapras @ lefties

Body slam
curse
avalanche
waterfall

You wouldn't believe it... but that is the exact moveset that I was thinking of... except the Lefties. I believe I had Life Orb or something. If someone else approves of that moveset, I might go for it.
And what about the Special Lapras.

You'll want Lefties as Lapras is a defensive Pokémon. You can Rest over Body Slam if you want.
Lapras can run Hydro Pump / Thunderbolt / Ice Beam / Sing or Toxic for special attacking.

You should use Surf instead of Hydro Pump unless you're planning on specializing in double battles.

There are situations where Hydro Pump is better than Surf. Lapras has 85 Base Special Attack, it needs the extra power.

It's really accuracy versus power. Hydro Pump over time averages a bit more than Surf, but Surf is consistent: (120 * .8 = 96, 95 * 1 = 95).
While I'm at it, I'll debunk (for no real reason) people advocating HP Fighting over Focus Blast on things: (120 * .7 = 84, 70 * 1 = 70).
