Seperating Music safely from itunes

My mom put her CD music into my itunes to put into her iphone... but there is about 156 of them... how do I seperate her music from mine? Also, it says if it connects to it again that it will be deleted.... so how do I move it away safely?

go to the options/preferences and tell it to add songs manually. then you can manually chose which songs to add to the ipod/iphone and you gain the ability to delete them from the ipod/iphone
