Something wierd just happened....

out of no where it just restarted....then went through the opening thing where it displays the ps1 logo and got to the title screen of my game, then restarted again!

what do i do..b/c i bought this used at a flea market, and it can't be returned...tell me it just got too hot or something.

Unfortunately it seems someone ripped ya off. I would suggest it could just be the disk, but it would just freeze not restart. Looks like you might have to get a new one and ask to see if it works first. You should mention this to the guy who sold it to you. I hate when people sell games without knowing if they work.

but it's been working for two weeks fine...

like i left it on for awhile yesterday..and it was sitting on my hot dvd player.....so maybe it did overheat?

well it seems to be running fine now...i moved the dvd player so it's not getting any extra heat.....but does a ps1 have a fan? and also if it does am i suppose to be hearing it?

No the PS1 didn't have a fan, and it will overheat and possibly not work again.....
