The Victori Stori: Infiltration (Part 1)

The school appeared through his night vision goggles, lit up in green. He turned left and right, surveying the area- it all seemed quiet enough, but he knew better from the information he had been given.

For one thing, there was the old man standing at the top of the clock tower in the center of the campus. Sure, he was a hiding in a cloak of wind to make him invisible to the naked eye, but they told him during briefing that he would be there. He brought up the information in his visor.

Weapon of Choice: M-Suppress/Tranq Dart

Other Info: Stands at the top of the clock tower on watch at night. Powerful Magic user. Take out ASAP.

Threat Level: 8

He smiled. This wouldn't be terribly hard if one of he was one of the highest threats... Slipping a dart from his belt, he dipped it into two liquid substances strapped to his belt, he held the dart by his ear, closing one eye as he aimed. Now many might shoot darts from guns, but he had no need for that...

The projectile left his hand, speeding through the air as it found its way into Eclipse's arm. He gasped in surprise, immediately trying to bring up his magic power- only to find he couldn't remember how. A few seconds later, the old man was asleep.

"No immediate threats. Proceed to room 84A and 84B for target retrieval. Stay alert." An automated female voice said through his earpiece. He smiled again as he took off dashing from the hill he had been standing on, leaping nimbly over the gate and slipping silently into the corridor leading to the rooms he was heading for.

Suddenly an ear-piercing klaxon blared, red lights lighting up all through the halls. From the sound of things, alarms were even going out outside as well, and all over campus. This had not been in his briefing. Were they trying to get him killed, or did they really not know? Could a security system be so well-hidden that his employers didn't know about it?

Oh well, he thought. I'm the one-and only Blackjack, and this is all just part of the game.

He smiled again as he took off through the halls towards the rooms, no longer caring about stealth.

[The Sufferer]

Several hidden packs of venom magic blew up beside Blackjack, kknocking him off balance. Malice leapt from the ceiling, his arms throwing random blasts everywhere.

"You mess with one, YOU MESS WITH US ALL!"

[Tigger!]

Eregorn threw open her door. She saw an unfamilar figure tearing around a corner. Her daggers were taken out and she turned inviable. She crept after the figure...

[Constantine]

Black jack sprinted down the corridor. Eon stepped out of a shadow into his path and extended his blade into the line of his neck, he skidded to a halt and dashed back the other way, Eon just stood still, "i'll leave him to the others-" he smiled and leaned against the wall in the shadows.

[Kaishen]

A large black wolf entered the hallway and was darting alongside the intruder, keeping pace.

I don't like this guys scent... Kai thought as he looked up at Blackjack.

[Constantine]

"they can handle this, they won't notice if i'm gone for a few-" Eon stepps into a nearby room, jumps out of the window, landson the lawn and rolls to his feat. he sprints to the gate and jumps clean over it into the drakness and dissapears, "now where's that town?"...

Blackjack glanced at the two people visible, and detecting another sneaking up behind him through motion-sensing. In a quick turn, he had caught all three of them with his visor. The data flowed in front of his right eye.

Blackjack pulled a long cue stick from his back, grabbing a black 8 Ball from his belt. Tossing the ball lightly into the air, he readied the cue stick and struck the 8 Ball at just the right time- it rocketed towards Kai, starting to spew green knockout gas all over as it got close. Next, he reached into his right pocket, pulling out a deck of red cards, hurling them all at Malice- the card seemed to take a life of their own, flying through the air, surrounding Malice in a thick whirlwind of paper. Cards began to fly out at him from the vortex, cutting him in various places and then rejoining the rest of the cards.

Meanwhile, Blackjack turned around, thrusting his cue stick into a seemingly random spot. However, the weapon struck home, striking Eregorn and sending her flying backwards on to her back. Blackjack ran after her, raising the cue stick over his head with two hands, bringing it down towards her face.

[Constantine]

Eon leapt in throught the window just in time and Jump Kicked Black jack off Eregorn, He extended his hand to help her up. Black jack lifted himself to his feat. Eon launched a shiny black shuriken at him, he ducked just in time and it stuck into the wall where his head would have been. He turned to where Eregorn was and held one up "like 'em? they're new. Saw them earlier in town, and i just went to pick them up." he said this to eregorn but never really took his eyes off blackjack.

"So this was where the fighting was taking place." said a voice among the shadows.

Then a puppet came charging out and was heavily armed with weapons. It was a combat puppet being controlled in the shadows. The puppet was equipped with two large blades at the ends of its arms, poisoned dagger tips on its fingertips, and had many sharp blades from it kneecap down. It lifted its right arm as it continued its blind rage towards Blackjack.

[Ahab]

Pik rushed out and helped Eregorn up, quickly turning around and facing Blackjack. "Guess who else?" He pointed behind Blackjack, where two identical Farzans ducked out of the shadows.

[The Sufferer]

The cards annoyed Malice more than hurt him, the scrathes weren't deep, but hurt. And there were SO many of them. He whipped out his large knife, slicing the air around him. The green glow of his knife made the dark red cards look black. The cards split, but still flew around him in a monstrous cloud. He smiled, the wounds on his skin glowed with his venom. His arms swirled, and a snakelike projectile flew out. Blackjack seemed to notice though, and dodged it. The snake hit the wall and exploded in a powerful cloud of purple.

"Damnit! He knows what moves I make before I make them!"

[Tigger!]

"So, you can see through invis? That's a first," Eregorn said, flicking her wrist. "Earthen Circle" Earth came flying through the window and circled around Eregorn. "Shockwave" Eregorn said, making her fingertips touch. All the earth that had circled Eregorn started to attach itself onto Blackjack. Ass long as the earth is attached, I can, hopefully, control him for the mostpart. She thought.

Earthorn came out of the shadows behind Blackjack. Her daggers withdrawn, she made a stab at his spine...

Blackjack's visor hurried the information through as fast as these supernaturals crawled out of the woodwork, though it took Blackjack a while to read them while keeping pace with the fight.

Blackjack smiled. He waved his hand in the air, and nine squares appeared in the air in front of him. The columns they were arranged in began to shuffle, slowly stopping...

Across the middle row, three little clouds lined up, and the top row had three bombs. Blackjack grinned.

Out of seemingly nowhere, smoke began to billow everywhere, covering the whole hallway. Then round black spheres began to hurtle through the darkness, scattering all over the place, fuses lit- then the bombs began to explode. Meanwhile, though nobody could see it through the thick smoke, Blackjack dissolved into a horde of cards which began to fly through the hallway towards room 84A and 84B again.

[The Sufferer]

Malice held his hand over his eyes, rushing through the bomb-infested hallway. The explosions rained shrapnel down on him, ripping holes in his flesh. He screamed, blood pouring out like water from a strainer. He held his knife in his limp hands.

"No! I'll kill you!"

His teeth lengthened, as his hidden (even from himself) vampirism kicked in. His body glowed a dull green. His knife moved with a lurching, shaky movement. His eyes reddened, and his pupils narrowed to slits. He was more animal than ever. If he died, he'd take this unlucky bastard in his vice grip.

[Constantine]

Eon turned and jumped out the window, he was crouching on the sill with one hand on the support beam above. he could se a dark shape moving smoothly down the corridor through the smokscreen. Bombs were going off, it'd be suicide to go back in there. He stayed close to the outside wall, a few stories up and just leapt from on sill to the next like stepping stones, 50 ft off the ground, one false move from death.

[Kaishen]

Kai in his wolf form stopped and howled loudly. The howl had some supernatural tone to it and caused everything in the hallway to stop momentarily. He morphed to his human form and waved his hand, a large gust of wind blowing away all smoke. The effects of the howl wore off and everyone started to move once again.

The black haired young adult ran after Blackjack, his ears helping him follow.

[Miss Understood]

Ali was roused by the alarms, and she knew that couldn't be good. She went next door to see if Sabine was up, but when she got there, Sabine was already dressed with her bow in her hand. "Let's go."

The two flew to the hallway where all the noise was, only to find many different students, and the enemy had already left. They followed everyone else down the hall, where, hopefully, the person they were after was.

down the corridor from the smokescreen, Eon re-entered throught a window and crouched on the sill. no sign of blackjack, only students. He stepped in and leaned in the shadows and sighed "damn!"

Tk stepped out into the hall and thats when he saw tons of cards flying his way. "To easy" said Tk as he throw some of his cards at the ones flying at him, and then he pulled out his Yo-Yo and prepared for what was about to happen.

[The Sufferer]

Malice lurched closer, now completely insane. His hands shook violently as the Venom magic tried it's best to repair the uncountable damage taken by his body. His shirt looked like red swiss cheese. He was fast, and unpredictable.

"REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The bloodcurtling scream reverberated in the halls, bouncing like a pinball on crack. He dropped his one keepsake, his knife, and rushed at Blackjack, hands clenched in fists, mouth foaming.

Blowing away the smokescreen, however, did nothing to alleviate the barrage of bombs. The explosions kept coming, only now the students could see a little better; the nine square were still floating in the air, and the bombs seemed to be flying out of the panels that had bombs on them. However, the number of sheer number of bombs was monstrous, and didn't seem to be slowing down soon.

Blackjack noticed he was being followed by Kai and Malice. He reached to his belt, pulling out a deck of green cards- he smiled.

"One little cut from this and you'll be snoozing." Blackjack murmured, grinning. He threw the deck of Tranq Cards backwards, and, like they had with Malice, the 52 cards fanned out as if they had a life of their own, swarming towards Kai and Malice. Just in case that didn't work, (Kai was a threat level 8 for a reason after all, Blackjack thought), Blackjack pulled a blue card from his belt, throwing it behind him as well. The blue card expanded rapidly in size until it spanned the entire hallway, and then began to glow blue with energy that would repel all but the strongest piercing attack.

Meanwhile, Blackjack continued down the hallway. He was almost to his destination...

[Forgotten Hero]

Leo had ran up behind Kai and when he saw the cards coming Leo quickly raised his hands as a wave of fire appeared in front of the cards, which began incinerating some of them, but the blue card somehow managed to get through.

[The Sufferer]

Malice punched relentlessly at the glowing card, his knuckles fracturing. The cards were swatted out of the air with uncanny accuracy. Malice simply stood there, wailing on the forcefield. Blood dripped down his hands, and he kept punching. He felt the bones in his fist cut through his skin, and only then did he stop. Wrapping his hands in cloth, he dodged the green cards and grabbed his knife. Standing a good twenty feet back, he took a leaping stab at the forcefield, which shocked him and sent him flying like a drunken penguin on a slide.

"Damnit! I need help here!"

[Constantine]

He rushed passed eon without seeing him, Eon stepped out and folowed him, he was jogging, keeping his didtance, he knew what this guy was capable of.

Zeke seemed to appear out of nowhere right in front of Blackjack. Zeke smiled at him and placed a hand on the hilt of his sword. Zeke tapped the handle and his eyes turned dakr purple. The male wasn't going to just let this newcomer pass.

"Now, just who are you? I suspect you're the one who made all the alarms go off?"

Tk Began throwing all his cards at The giant blue card, but nothing seemed to work

OOC: Dude, TK was on the other side of the blue card and you know it. Eon can be there though since he went out a window, and Zeke just arrived... but TK's got to go.

"Well, you people just crawl out of the woodwork, don't you?" Blackjack asked, reading his Cue Stick. He snatched a 5 ball from his belt, tossing it lightly and hitting it towards Zeke with his Cue Stick. Zeke managed to dodge it, leaping out of the way and running towards Blackjack; the 5 Ball struck the ground where Zeke had been standing, exploding into an inferno of flames that seemed impossible coming from such a small package.

Blackjack fended off Zeke's sword combos with his Cue Stick, which miraculously seemed to withstand all blows from the sharpened blade, despite being just wood. Blackjack backed off a bit, shooting two more 5 Balls at Zeke, forcing him to retreat backwards for a bit- just like Blackjack intended.

"Gotcha." Blackjack whispered. Through the flames, a small green dart just like the one Eclipse had used shot out and pierced into Zeke's leg. The Magic Suppressant and Tranquilizer fluid seeped into Zeke's bloodstream rapidly; in a couple of heartbeats it would be all through his body.

"Good night." Blackjack said, rushing past Zeke. He arrived at room 84B, kicking down the door- inside, a startled Tori bolted up in bed (somehow she had slept through the alarms). A quick dart throw later, Tori was tranquilized. Blackjack grabbed her with one arm and proceeded to 84A, kicking open that door as well...

Vic, however, was not asleep. A rush of flames forced Blackjack to back off for a bit as the Flame Specter roared towards him. As it rushed to roast him again, Blackjack held Tori upright and placed a sinister looking red-colored dart at Tori's neck.

"Stop, or the girl dies!" he cried.

"Stop!" Vic commanded. The Flame Specter stopped, and Blackjack hit it with a light blue card which sent water flying everywhere, extinguishing the Flame Specter instantly.

"And that's game." Blackjack said, throwing a Tranq Dart into Vic's shoulder. Seconds later he slumped and fell to the ground as well. He picked Vic up too, and was about to make good his escape...

Eon came to a halt just behind the others, he sank back a few yards, out of the way if a big fight raged, he reached behind his back, and rested his fingers on his sabre claws' handles.

"Dammit I can't see where everyone went." Mali wondered.

She ran through the smoke as bombs exploded in front of her. She had gotten through heavy smoke as her eyes burn as so her lungs. On she went straight on, but not without another puppet being summoned in front of her. This one was just like the other expect with longer blades on the finger tips and had more deadly poisons mixed together. On her back was the large claymore which was rather heavy and dead weight.

She made it to where most the fighting was taking place; so she hide herself in the shadows. She was controlling the puppet again this time making it attack rather ruthless. Off it went being controlled by invisible puppet strings in the darkness, it raised its arms and charged forward at Blackjack.

Zeke's body burst into flames, Zeke floated out of the flames, the cut on his leg completely gone.

"Good thing I chose to use a fire clone."

Zeke ran after Blackjack quickly. He unsheathed his sword and his left hand lit on fire. Zeke saw Blackjack walking out of a room with Vic and Tori in his hands. He didn't know them well but the male wasn't about to just let Blackjack take them. Zeke's flame on his left hand quickly changed to a black and purple aura. Zeke shot the aura at him. Blackjack tried to turn around, but he wasn't quick enough and it connected with his back. Blackjack immidiately felt like another 100 pounds of gravity was pushing down on him. Zeke walked up to him and smiled.

"Going somewhere now? Oh, and please don't run, you wouldn't like that."

[Constantine]

Eon stepped up behind them, and put his hand on zeke's shoulder, "good work. what are ya gonna do to him." Eon smiled and leaned against the nearest wall, a few yards from the two.

[Torturous Flame]

Gabe ran down the hall in werewolf form, Noel trailing sleepily behind, leaning on her staff for support. When she saw the fight she stood up.

"Teleport!"

She dissapeared and reappeared in Blackjack's path, the end of her staff hit the ground, blands came from the ends as it bounced back up. The staff twirled in her hands and she settled into a fighting position.

"Put the kids down" She snarled, almost cat-like.

Zeke smiled as he noticed others showing up.

"See, I don't think you want to try to run right now, just drop the kids and leave."

Zeke pointed his sword at Blackjack, a dark expression crossing over his face.

[Kaishen]

Kai was busy, dodging the flying green cards and had gotten really mad.

He calmed himself, his agility going up. His eyes were closed and he seemed to weave in and out of the flying cards with ease, like a specter. He drew his katana, stopping momentarily, and spun, a vortex forming around him, blowing most of the cards out of the air. He stopped quickly and switched weapons, his katana disappearing in a gust of wind, the greatsword appearing seconds later in it's place.

He stood with a very loose stance, jumped into the air and spun like mad, flying towards the blue card. He took the sword and pointed it directly at it, becoming like a drill. Even before he made impact, flashing silver beams shot from the tip of the blade, cracks steadily appearing on the card. He made impact, and the card cracked the whole way across. He quickly changed to his wolf form and howled, visible waves of sound flying at the blue card. The cracks had started to seal, but stopped with the howl. The card was damaged, and would not repair itself for a good few minutes, due to the strength and intensity of the howl. He changed back to human form and looked towards all the others. "EVERYONE AT ONCE! ATTACK THE CARD NOW!"

He got out of the way, and walked over to a green card. He leaned down and picked it up carefully, being sure not to touch one of the edges.

[Tigger!]

Eregorn ran through the smoke. She was coughing pretty badly, but it soon stopped once she got to where the fighting was going on. The earth that she had before was still with her and she put her hands out with their palms facing upwards. The earth crept onto Blackjack. Once it got to his arms, she started to whisper something. The earth started to harden and become earthen spikes...

[Ahab]

OOC: This thread jumpped off without me...I'll try and keep up now.

One Farzan jumpped into the flight path, holding his staff out to block the card. The staff flashed silver, and changed into a metal pole. The card flew straight into his staff, pushing Farzan back a few paces before it stopped. The card was trying to force its way forward still, Farzan pushing it back. The other Farzan rushed forward, and bashed the card on the side, spinning it so the others could pass. While Pik was passing, he morphed a gun and shot it several times. The bullets exploded in midair, and water rushed into the card. The water bent and morphed the card into a soggy pile on the floor. "Now for our mysterious guest..."

[The Sufferer]

Malice smiled, his naturally long canines lenghtened with the sight of his blood. His pupils narrowed, and he ran as fast as he could at the wall. With one last flying leap, he sunk his knife into one of the fissures in the card.

"C'mon... C'mon.... Don't quit on me now!"

He turned his knife with a deft twist, popping out three inch section of blue-card.

"Wait, don't kill him." Zeke said.

"And why not???" Eregorn asked.

"As long as he leaves... there's no need to kill him." Zeke replied, "Get Vic and Tori away from him."

Noel stepped forward, grabbing Tori and pulling her out of Blackjack's paralyzed arm. Before she could get to Vic though, Blackjack spoke.

"I don't care. I don't have to have both of them, just one. Your attack is powerful, but not perfect..." Blackjack said.

"No! Stop him!" Zeke cried, and Eregorn continued her attack. Earthen spikes pierced Blackjack's arm, sending blood splattering to the floor- but it was the arm that didn't have Vic in it. Blackjack's body began to dissolve into a swarm of cards, and though the students tried their best to stop him, he slipped past them and out of the hallway. As they chased after him, they heard a helicopter taking off in the distance, flying away... some of them could swear they heard Blackjack's voice laughing at them as he flew away.

"D***! He got away..." Zeke grumbled.

"Uh... guys? We have another problem. You know how Vic and Tori get weaker when they're apart?" Noel said.

She had laid Tori on the ground, and it was clear what the problem was- even though unconscious, Tori was hyperventilating rapidly, her forehead sweating as her temperature began to rise rapidly.

[Dr. Manhattan]

Jonathan sat on the roof calmly, his legs crossed to steady the collapsible sniper rifle in his lap. Even steady breaths kept the rifle from swaying away from his target.

Three.

Two.

One.

His finger gently squeezed the trigger. In an instant the action shot back and forth, the firing pin striking the shell, causing the gunpowder to ignite. From the long sleek barrel of the gun flew an aerodynamic piece of bronze. Designed for one thing...To kill its target. This time, its target was Blackjack.

"Whoa! Dice!" Blackjack said, throwing out a three dice in front of him. The dice expanded, piling on top of each other to form a human-sized wall in front of Blackjack. The bullet buried itself into one of the dots, then vanished.

"I guess they had one last trick up their sleeve..." Blackjack said as the helicopter soared away from the school.

[Dr. Manhattan]

A grimace swept across Jonathan's mouth for only a second. In a few quick movements he had dissembled his rifle and stored in the briefcase it was carried in.

Minutes later he was in the gardening shed. It looked exactly as it had before, with one difference. To the direct left of entering a single shovel seemed immovable. John made a few complex movements and the entire shed seemed to change. The walls revealed a massive amount of weapons. A computer that linked directly to "The Agencies" database slid out. And a small opening in the far corner opened.

"Identify codename 'Blackjack'" Jonathan said, storing the briefcase away.

"No information stored. Please restate name or try another." The computer relayed.

"Who are you?" Jonathan said to himself, staring at the spot Blackjack had been last.

[FlySkyHigh]

"Ya know. That's a good question." Hikoru stated, showing up after the battle, his notebook out, pen flying. "Although I have to say, that was quite the flashy spectacle." He grinned. "I could use that guy for my school..." He jotted down another quick note, watching the helicopter go away. It was an easy task when he could make his eyes sharper than any human's by adjusting their makeup. But he was impressed. He returned his eyes to normal and made another note. "Note, man has good resources..."

[Constantine]

Eon rushed in panting, "i ran below the chopper as fast as i could trying to keep up, then i lost it, it was heading-" at that moment someone else entered...

ooc: i didn't know which direction it was going, in case it was on a specific route or something.

"I could fly after them, with Tori and you all, on earth. I havn't perfected it though..." Eregorn said, ready to jump out the window and uproot the earth.

[Kaishen]

Kai grimaced and jumped through the blue card, shattering it and running into the room everyone else was in. He was breathing heavily and looked to Noel.

"What happened?!" he yelled/demanded.

[The Sufferer]

Malice ran in, holding his bloody, hamburger-like hands.

"Warning, don't punch a Force-Field. They win."

[Constantine]

Eon smiled and turned to face him befor looking back into the room. "so what do we do? How do we find this guy?"

[Krazy Koco King]

OOC: I'm assuming that the school is somewhere in East America... I think we agreed on that last time the question came up.

"It was heading due west." Eon said, "But that could mean anywhere."

"Besides," Noel added, "We should worry about Tori's health first. I know it would fix the problem to get her closer to Vic, but how can we catch up to the copter? And if we could, Tori could be captured along with Vic..."

"Let's just see what the medics can do." Kai suggested.

Meanwhile, Jonathan had an idea... he broadened his search query, limiting it not just to "The Agencies". The result made him smile. There was one Blackjack on the list:

"We've managed to stabilize her condition." Ramona (NPC Nurse I invented and used before) informed the group, "But it keeps getting worse. I don't know what to do; at this rate, we could lose her."

Silence filled the air, as the students contemplated what to do.

"Now, while I'm mighty tempted to let the mystic die to kill the summoner too, that wouldn't help to save our captured brethren." A bone-chilling, raspy voice said. The students whirled. Behind them was a patch of hazy air, much like what appeared when Vic summoned a Specter. Out of it stepped three figures- one figure completely clothed in black robes, with two shiny red orbs for eyes, holding a scythe with a jagged, monstrous blade; another was a black wolf-like figure with gleaming yellow eyes, though twice or three times as large as a normal wolf; and the last was a small, wiry, purple figure with a pointed tail and a miniature mane of silver hair, carrying a staff proportionate to its size.

[Kiwi]

Kari walked into the room. "I heard alarms before, but Alice hasn't been on so...how is she? We could track and capture the helicopter or something..." Kari said, looking over at Tori with a concerned glance.

[The Sufferer]

"You threaten them, though they control you, Spirits? I've met your brood on the high seas, dragging men down to the briny depths, or making them insane with bloodlust..."

Malice said, rubbing his broken, bloody hand over his eyepatch. His other hand snuck it's way to his hip, where his large, half-serrated knife waited for the next victim.

[Krazy Koco King]

The Wolf snarled, and surprised everybody by uttering human speech.

"Foolish human! Nothing controls us but ourselves! Summoners are impotent fools that drag us into this world to attempt to make us do their bidding- though most of the time that just gets them killed. Of course, out of the thousands of summoners over the years, there are a handful with real power..."

"Don't tell them too much." The Hooded Figure hissed in his raspy voice, turning sharply towards the Wolf, "If you don't want the mystic to survive, that's fine by us. But something tells me you humans are attached to her somehow, and that you'll help us so that you can save the lives of this mystic and the summoner as well."

[The Sufferer]

"Is that a threat? We don't RESPOND well to threats. I'm sure we have others with powers to.... Remove you."

Seeker landed with the sound of wings folding. His hand was on the hilt of his Seeker blade. It glowed with lethal electrical energy. He smiled warmly, but his red and blue eyes cut the enemy down to size, bit by bit.

"If it saves them.... Then yes."

[Constantine]

Eon turned from the three, "is there anyway we can intercept it? if we are here-" he drew a map in the air "and the chopper was going this way, and with let's say a tank of 260 litres fuel and a PSR of 300 miles, then the destination will be within 300 miles, 300 here and 300 back. and if it's further away, they'll have to stop and re fuel. Can someone hack the airport computers to see whether any re fuelings are scheduled for the next 30minutes or something? Or see what the flight path for helicopters heading west is. we need to get this guy." he was thinking hard...

ooc: PSR= Point of Safe Return, si you can't return to where you came from

once half a tank of fuel is used up, it's the end of the PSR. Most chopper pilots are reluctant to cross it.

OOC: Yeah, except that math would definitely not work in this case... if you know where they were headed, you'd know why.



"The mystics and summoners are connected to each other, these two even more than most." the Hooded Figure said, "You may think your machines will save her, but they cannot. Imp here can put her into a temporary stasis that will be broken once her and her summoner are reunited- and then my forces combined with yours could help to rescue the summoner and my captured subjects. But it would only be temporary- we'd promise not to hurt the summoner, but nothing can make us ever like their kind."

[LordSephiroth]

Zeke was leaning on a wall in the back of the room. He had his arms crossed and he sighed loudly so that everyone could hear him. Once he got their attention he raised his head.

"If they want to help us let them. Malice, you and Seeker always threaten people even when they aren't the ones throwing the blows. You two might consider counseling."

Zeke lifted his back off the wall and uncrossed his arms.

"Now please can we go save that boy? I would hate to see the girl die from something as this."

[Kaishen]

Kai nodded, looking from the wolf spirit to Zeke.

"Zeke... I agree with everything you just said. And nobody's gonna end up dead. We're gonna save Vic." he said, looking around to everyone.

He looked to the spirit called Imp. "Could you work on the stasis please? If you need any help with it at all, I could call my little brother. He is... skilled with healing magics."

[Krazy Koco King]

"I don't need help." Imp said, leaping up onto the bed next to Tori's head. He raised his hands over Tori's head, murmuring under his breath as he waved his hands- purple energy began to descend from his hands onto Tori's face, where it disappeared. Nothing seemed to happen at first- and then Tori's hyperventilating began to slow- alot. In fact, she stopped breathing. Her heartrate flatlined.

"You killed her!" Malice snarled, he and Seeker getting ready to attack.

"No... That is just the effects of the stasis. She will stop living until reunited with her summoner." The hooded figure hissed, "Now we need to hurry to save the summoner and my brethren. I fear it may already be too late..."

Vic awoke to find himself strapped to a chair in an all white room. He glanced around. The room was a perfect cube, with his chair in the center of the room. The chair was like a dentist's chair.

"Ah, so you're awake." said a voice, distorted through a voice-changer.

"Who are you? What am I doing here?" Vic demanded. He felt weak and tired, so he knew he was separated from Tori- but somehow, he felt he wasn't dying.

"You're here because of your unique abilities. Now summon something for me, will you?" the voice said.

"No! Why should I?" Vic asked.

His answer was a sharp shock as the chair he was in shocked him for a few seconds. When it stopped, he was panting for breath, in searing pain.

"What the heck?!?! What did I ever do to you!?!?!?!?!?" Vic yelled, his anger rising. The air in front of him became hazy, and a figure of flame burst out of it, rushing all around the white room but finding no way out.

"There we go." The voice said calmly, "Subdue it."

Suddenly, a gun-like thing popped out of the wall, shooting a white capsule at the Flame Specter. It struck the Flame Specter, and instantly it was frozen in a solid block of ice. The floor opened beneath the ice block, taking it somewhere other than the room.

"Take it to the siphon tubes and drain it's energy." the voice instructed someone, "We'll let this kid regain his energy before we do this again..."

A sharp prick alerted Vic that something had just been injected in him... a few seconds later, he was fast asleep.

[Constantine]

ooc: i was just speculating is all in my last post, trying to help and whatever.

"So what do we do then, and how do we go about it?" Said Eon, now too leaning against the wall.

[Forgotten Hero]

"I may be able to track them through a spy satelitte if I can hack into its main frame" said Tk

[Constantine]

"Good idea, but, how long will it take and how fast are the cameras? said Eon, still thinking.

[Forgotten Hero]

"Won't know till I hack" said Tk.

[Constantine]

"Good point." eon said with a slight disapointment. he walked out of the room and stared out of the window.

[Krazy Koco King]

"Wolf can smell the energy of our captured comrades, as long as the scent isn't overseas; the saltwater smell from the ocean would cover it up.." The hooded figure said.

"Right now... they just captured Blaze, it seems. I can smell him... far to the west. I can smell lots of heat too, and I'm not talking about Blaze. Smells like lava. I can also faintly smell saltwater." Wolf replied.

The hooded figure turned towards the students.

"Well? You know this world better than we do. Even in the Specter World, lava is rare; I doubt there are many places like that in your world."

[The Sufferer]

"Hawaii."

Was the first thing that popped into Malice's mind. He'd spent port there several times. The natives seemed to believe the lava was a gate to the other side.

"Plenty of volcanos, and it's surrounded by saltwater... But would that much throw Wolfy here's nose off?"

[Miss Understood]

ooc: Okay...I just read to catch up and my head hurts. I'm lost.

[Constantine]

ooc: well, Tori is in a hospital be in comatose. three people, a hooded figyre, a wolf and another dude are here to help get Vic back. Everyone is in the room with Tori in it, trying to figure out how to get Vic back. Blackjack has escaped to god knows where and we are trying to track him. that's it really.

ic: Eon reenters the room, "what about geizers? they can be saltwater i think, and they got lava under them i'm pretty sure. i might be wrong though-"

[Tigger!]

Eregorn sighed and raked her brain for places with lava. "I got nothing. I grew up in an Elven world, so i really wouldn't know..."

[Krazy Koco King]

"You know the most about this world out of us three, Imp. What do you think?"

Imp seemed to think for a moment then said,

"It's not Hawaii, that's an island. The saltwater smell would overpower the lava smell. A geyser doesn't sound right either..." Imp said.

"It's Mount St. Helens." said Eclipse's voice. Everybody turned to see him hobbling in; apparently the tranquilizer had just now worn off, "Aidemur's old base was there. Last I heard of, Omega had taken it over and was using it as a base. It could be Omega who's doing this..."

There was a brief silence, and then Imp spoke.

"Yeah, I just talked to Gargoyle. He sees it, he thinks it fits. Can you smell him, Wolf?"

Wolf sniffed twice.

"He's flying right above it. That's the place." Wolf confirmed.

"All right. Now that Gargoyle's there, I can take us there through the Specter Realm- you humans get your people together and get ready to go. Be sure to bring the mystic girl along too. Come through whenever you're ready." The hooded figure said. He raised his scythe and pulled it downwards through the air- as if slicing through the air itself. As the scythe passed, the air became wavy around where he had cut- Wolf, Imp, and the hooded figure stepped through the wavy air and vanished. However, the wavy air remained for the others' usage.

[Kaishen]

Kai looked to everyone.

"He just said bring Tori right? I guess I can carry her..." he said, waiting for possible other suggestions or ideas.

[Constantine]

"i don't mind, have we got a stretcher or something?" he turned and left after the three figures

[Tigger!]

"I could make a stretcher, then fly it either after us or before us. Or Kai could just carry her, that would work too," Eregorn said, getting ready to bring in some earth.

OOC: Eh, it doesn't matter since she'll be left out of the fighting anyway. Just go through so we can start Part 2.

[The Sufferer]

Malice looked nervous, and politely backed down. He didn't like the the specters, and a trip through the Specter Realm seemed less than stellar. Seeker, however stepped up, his odd eyes shining with something akin to excitement.

"Let's go."

He said to no one in particular. without a moment's hesitation, he stepped through.

[LordSephiroth]

Zeke raised his hand, hopihng someone would notice him. Zeke waited and then pointed at himself.

"Uh... Hello? Gravity Powers? I can just float her in the air."

Zeke put his hands over Tori and she began to float. He took a step back and she floated with him.

"Okay, there, lets go."

Zeke walked through with Tori floating beside him.

[Miss Understood]

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Ali asked as she faced the portal. She got a running start, jumped in, and tucked her legs in to cannonball through the wavy air.

Sabine sighed and walked into the portal with a little more dignity.

[Kaishen]

Kai shrugged, transformed into his wolf form, and jumped through the portal.
