The New Thrice Album, The Alchemy Index Vol:1 & 2 Fire and Water Is a great album. Very different from what you would expect from Thrice. It's a great album. Pick it up. Anyway, I'm really fond of the "Water" disk and I was wondering if anyone knew of any artists or albums that have a similar vibe. It's really laid back and chill. Calming, Relaxing and what not.
So if you've heard it, any suggestions?

AND if you haven't heard it, check t out.

It isn't bad, just as good as Vehissu. Give me Illusion of Safety or Artist In The Ambulance any day though.

I'm with CD on this one. Just a mediocre album. I can't get into it

I guess I'd recommend Thursday, sound the most like Thrice. For better versions in the same genre listen to These Arms are Snakes and Able Baker Fox

Well, I'm familiar with Thrice's other work and I'm also familiar with Thursday, I love em. I was actually looking for something more with the vibe of the Water Disk, if anyone knew of any artists or or albums that have that kind of sound.

I was not too found of the Fire disk, it just came out sounding too much like Throwdown or something. I loved the Water disc, but it just isn't Thrice. If only they could replicate like Thursday has time and time again. It just seems Dustin's voice is hoarse now when he yells the slightest but.

Also III & IV comes out April 15th, and the single from Earth comes out on itunes March 4th I think with Whaler acoustic, Digital Sea remixed by Ben from DEP(think that's his name) and Digital Sea music video.
