Platform/adventure game suggestions

My fiancée bought a DS today as she wanted to play Brain Training. We had a quick look at some of the other games in the shop but nothing really caught her eye. She likes platform/adventure games like Spyro and games like The Sims. Any suggestions?

I agree completely. It's fun and accessible, and should be ideal for the fiancée. My girlfriend loves it.

Drawn to life might be good for her. You get to draw out your own character and play with them through the game. It is an action/adventure game like Mario.

Another game that might be good is Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime. It is a bit on the easy side, but extremely fun. Great action/adventure game.

Dragon Quest isn't out here yet...

Back to what you said before though Styx, there are Sims and Spyro games for the DS. If she likes looking after animals, then Nintendogs (or Catz, Dogz, Pippa Funnel's Horsez or the like) might be an option even though it's not an adventure game.
