CoD4 ranking system

so after much, convincing I finally picked up a copy of CoD4 and the online multiplayer is great, before now I've only ever played it on a 22" SDTV and it just doesn't do it justice. Anywhooter on to my problem...I played online multiplayer for about an hour and got up to level 7...and then I exited xbox live and played some split-screen with my brothers, after I came back on xbox live all my work had disappeared...and I was back to level 1. Sooooo what gives?

Try it again to make sure as you'll be shown as level one while it loads your stats

Sometimes as the mp lobby loads for me, it first shows me at level one, then when I get started it shows me back at whatever level I was at before. So you may just need to let it do it's thing for awhile.

I logged on again today...and played a few more games got up to level five, and turned it off...came back a couple hours later...a voile! Back down to level one again :\ this is actually pretty retarded and I'm about to take the game back if there isn't some sort of fix :(

Are you playing on the 360 or PS3? I know that the Xbox users are having a bunch of problems with this sort of thing, but I haven't heard anything from the PS3 end yet.

Apparently it's a problem on all three platforms, and I'm playing it on the 360. Either way it still doesn't work...soooo I'm going to just exchange the disc and see if that helps (even though I'm 98% sure it won't.)

There's a patch that's come out to fix all of that.

That's also one of the reasons they had double XP weekend back in the dizzay.
