What's everyone's favorite slasher flick? Just curious.

I don't know if this one counts but my favorite movie that fits the genre is the first Predator.

My favorite horror film, hmm.

I'm gonna go with Night of the Living Dead. I've always been a sucker for zombie movies, and this was the first one I saw. It's in black and white, the zombies are slower and creepier. "They're coming to get you Barbara" makes me laugh off. Ah, such a good movie all around, and although I disliked the ending I couldn't help but laugh.

I don't really care for Slasher films all too much....

As far as Horror films though, I would say that the 28 Days/Weeks Later movies are two of my favorites movies of all times. Sad that Fox Atomic has put out so many crappy horror movies that it looks like 28 Months/Years Later isn't going to happen anymore...

Personally, I wouldn't count Night of The Living Dead or 28 Days/Weeks Later as slasher films. They get their "Zombie flicks" category.

Slasher wise, A Nightmare on Elm Street. In my opinion the best in the genre(except for Halloween of course, but I like Elm Street better)
