Action Replay for Wii?

Hi everyone,
I hope this is in the correct area, if not I'd be glad to move it. If it's also been answered already please point me in the right direction!

I had pre-ordered an action replay for my Wii which was supposed to ship in the middle of December. About a week ago, I got a full refund on the order, and when I looked at the site I bought it from the item had completely disappeared.

I'm guessing hoping it was just delayed and not canceled entirely.

Does anybody know the status of the AR for the Wii? Will it be released? If so, when?

I researched this a bit and it seems as though there are too many rumors regarding the matter to give a definite answer. One article, however, said that Gamecube action reply was banned by some firmware, so that's something to keep in mind...

I'm pretty sure Nintendo is dissalowing any cheat devices to make the Wii harder to mod.

that makes sense. If they didn't have it by this point then they probably won't.
