How long has UFC had Antoni Hardonk?

Oh this card sucks in my opinion. I will even go as far as saying worst one I have seen in quite some time.

I just got done watching Gonzaga destroy Cro Cop and I think my step-dad and I will get this one since we had a family emergency for 79.

I hope everythings cool.

Yeah, I have to admit that I'm not real jazzed about this card. It is a soild card, just not a "I want to spend $45" type of card.

I dunno.

I'm kinda interested in Penn/Stevenson.

Penn will win. I'm willing to be money on it. Stevenson hasn't really fought any big names and won.

I disagree on that one. He's had some great fights outside of UFC, and he's really been on top of his game since entering the octagon. Personally, I would love to see him win decisively over Penn.

Joe Stevenson will win via outside interference from Sean Sherk.

Oh wait, this isn't the wrestling forum...

Yeah, I figure Stevenson will beat Penn. It'll be by decision, though.

Wow, I'm suprised to see the confidence in a Stevenson win. I got BJ in this one, either by KO or sub.

The rest of this card is kinda, meh. I'm looking forward to see what Gonzaga will do after having his nose smashed in by Couture. That, and seeing if Marcus Davis can continue to impress me, but besides those things, 80 is a below-average card IMO. Should have been free on Spike.

Didn't Couture break his arm blocking a kick by Gonzaga in their fight?

It's not like Gonzaga didn't do anything in the fight against Couture. Plus Randy's arguably the best fighter ever.

I expect Gonzaga to have an impressive showing here and win.

Stevenson winning is just something I really hope happens. I don't know if it will or not. Penn is certainly a great fighter, but I like Stevenson a lot and think he has a real shot at winning this. We'll see, though.

And I agree about this card sucking for the most part. Those two fights are the only ones I'm interested in, and I'm really only interested in Gonzaga, not Werdum. I think I've seen Werdum fight a few times, but he's not memorable to me. I know he was on some of the UFC Fight Night shows.

Grove will beat Rivera. Jorge is pretty talented... But Grove is a freak of nature. It's hard to even imagine Grove being in the same weight class as Jorge, considering their height difference.

Penn and Stevenson are both sound jujitsu guys, Penn probably better technically. Stevenson is no doubt more powerful. I honestly think the fight can go either way.

Aside from that, I'm not really that interested in anything else, though I'd like to see Marcus Davis and Kendal Grove each pick up a win.

AHHHHH THIS CARD SUCKS!!!
UFC 81:Breaking Point. Looks better. Lesnar vs Mir. WOW.
It seems like 79 was just about a week or so ago.

I don't think this card sucks at all. You've got two Top 10 Heavyweights duking it out, Werdum vs. Gonzaga could be a really great fight. I think Gonzaga has it, though.

And if that weren't enough, we've got two top 10 Lightweights fighting as well. And I don't care what you guys have to say about Stevenson vs. Penn, it could go either way. I personally think Stevenson might be able to pull it off. But I think BJ is a really good guy, so I'll be pulling for him.

EDIT: I will add, however, that UFC 81 does look infinitely better. Nogueira vs. Sylvia, Mir vs. Lesnar, Marquardt vs. Horn? That could be a really awesome night. (IMO it will be worth it to see Nogueira wipe the floor with Sylvia)

And with Silva vs. Hendo at UFC82, and St. Pierre vs. Serra at 83, we have a lot to look forward to.

Forgot that it was on at 3, and not 9/10/whenever they usually start, so I missed it. Catching the replay tonight, even though I was nosy and checked the results. Joe lost. :'(

yeah Joe vs. BJ was gory.

I can't believe Werdum came back after those leg kicks. Hell I'm surprised he could stand. Although I do think they stopped the fight a little early... Gonzaga looked like he was (at least somewhat effectively) defending himself at the end.
