i was breeding a blissey and i got a bold nature, but it had serene grace, not natural cure. Is it worth it to wait 4 a bold nature w/ NC? Im pretty sure it will take 4ever 4 me 2 get another bold nature cause thats just my luck.:-\

Tough one. Natural Cure is quite superior to Serene Grace on a pokemon like Blissey. The most common offensive moves found on a Blissey (Thunderbolt and Ice Beam) would still have only a 20% chance to activate their effects. There would also be a chance that the one you're attacking would already be afflicted by a status assuming you have Toxic or Thunder Wave. The only real use for Serene Grace in my opinion is for Charge Beam for the guaranteed special attack boost, and even then, Calm Mind is probably the better option.

If you have even an ounce of patience left, I'd say go for the Natural Cure.

Attach an Everstone to the Blissey (or Chansey/Happiny that has the bold nature), and breed it with a male pokemon that Blissey can breed with that isn't a Ditto, then there is a 50% chance that the baby will be Bold.

Natural Cure is a lot better than Serene Grace because Blissey usually carries a status move anyway (usually Thunder Wave), making Serene Grace pointless.

Yes it does but only on female pokemon and ditto.

When Ditto is involved, Ditto MUST hold the everstone, and when its two other pokemon (non-Ditto), the female must be the one holding the everstone. Because Blissey is always female, I didn't mention gender.

By the way, Serene Grace is actually a good ability for Calm Mind Blissey. Considering that you'll be out for awhile, a 20% chance of your opponent being frozen isn't really that bad. On any other set go Natural Cure.

Lucky you! I was breeding my duskull for a sassy nature and got one and accidently released it with the others :(

Just a quick question though, using the everstone on Ditto, does it have the increase chance of having the same nature as Ditto or as the other pokemon?
