Tying the Knot

[Grey Angel]

Nix stood in his room, looking at himself in the mirror on his closet door, just looking at himself. He was shocked, surprised, and best of all, happy of what had happened. Everything felt so surreal to him at the moment, for he thought things were going to turn out much differently, he never knew it would go this perfect.


Previously....

Linia's hands immediatly went up to her face, covering her mouth in utter surprise, not knowing how to fully comprehend the situation. There, on one knee, was Nix, smiling up at her, his eyes full of pure joy, as if nothing could kill the moment, even a negative answer, he looked so innocent, yet mature at the same time. Tears started to roll down her cheeks.

Chao was a tad surprised, but knew something great was to happen, for what Nix had said before the great battle hinted to him that he was going to make Linia happier than ever. Kaullor and Zo were just as shocked as Linia, for neither knew that this was going to happen, just like everyone else.

Linia was at a complete loss of words, and the only thing that was able to come out other than the sounds of sobs, was the sound of a 'yes' that all heard clear enough to understand. Nix got up and the two embraced eachother with their happiness, sobbing together.


Now, Nix was back at his room, looking at himself, staring at his reflection for tha past two hours.

"You have no idea what you're going to do, huh?" Larson asked, breaking the silence after the two hours of just staring.

"Nuhuh." responded Nix.

"Well, you need to plan out alot of things. Color schemes, theme, groom's men, bride's maids, what you're going to wear, what she's going to wear... cake!"

"I know, but, it's just so awesome, and now that the first part is done, I have no idea what to do.... Maybe I should ask some people to help, like Zo! She probably had ideas on cakes and girl stuff! She can help out me and Linia choose our stuff!"

"That's all up to you, but, you have time to think about it, just enough, maybe a little extra."

On the typical hill where all villains start off at, stood a flag with the insignia of a wolf's head with a three swords going through it's mouth. On the other hill, where no one even cared about, stood a figure, completely shadowed by it's cloak. Another figure walked up next to the first. It leaned over and whispered a few words, then vanishing from view.

"So, we'll be able to kill two birds with one stone. This was worth the wait." Said the figure, peering down at where everything was suppossed to happen, where the marriage was suppossed to take place.

[Tigger!]

"Congrats, Nix!" Eregorn said, knocking on his door, then coming in "I know I basicly just met you, but I just wanted to say Congrats :D. If there's anything I can do to help, I'm here for ya!" She finnished with a smile.

[Grey Angel]

"Oh, thanks!" Nix said, snapping back to reality from his abnormal state.

Larson walked over to the window, looking down at the arrangements. "You know, we could use some help with decorations and such, so, if you have any ideas, we'll gladly consider them."

"Yea, but as you know, the final desicion is up to my fiancee."

"Not necessarily, it's up to the both of you, but it's more of an agreement for it's her wedding as well."

Nix looked over at Eregorn and took this into mind. "You knw what, yea, just hit us with anything you have."

[Tigger!]

"Mmkay..." Eregorn said, pulling out a notebook. She started to sketch some ideas out. After sketching for about twenty minutes, she said "How do you like these three? :D I can make more if you and Linia don't like them."

"Hmm, I think they're all awesome! I like the second one best though." Nix said pointing at the second idea.

"Yes, I agree. It has the perfect feminine touch, so i think Linia will love it. Thank you Eregorn." Larson said turning back towards the window. "Well, what do you need in order to make it work?" Larson asked Eregorn.

Nix was now skipping around his room as happy as can be, clapping his hand like a child in a flower field.

Ali knocked on the door to Linia's dorm, calmly, if you could call it that. Once she was invited inside, however, she unleashed her happiness. "Oh my god! I can't believe this! I'm so happy for you!" She squealed, hopping on the spot with joy. She calmed down and said, "This will be so great! I can help you pick out your dress, cake, and whatever else if you want me too. Sabine can help with the makeup and colors, oh!....This is so great! You two were made for eachother!"

Linia was really happy to know that she and Nix were getting married. Zo was in Linia's room fixing her up for the marriage. She had just finished and Linia hair was completely straight and she was wearing the nicest dress ever. She was ready and she wanted to find Nix to give him her answer she left her room with Zo behind her.

Chao had walked into Nix's room seeing him skipping like a little girl. He shook his head as he watched him. Some of his wounds reopened but stopped bleeding as his clothes were blood stained. He was only feeling weak he had noticed Eregorn was in there giving her a small smile. A few minutes later Linia enter along with Zo behind her. Linia grabbed Nix and hugged him tightly her tail was wagging also she was so happy.

[Tigger!]

"I don't need anything exept for a place. I can conjer anything I might need...exept for a guy in the church who tells everyone about God and what not to do." Eregorn said, picking up the second drawing.

[Grey Angel]

Nix hugged Linia back, and seperated from her, still holding her hands. "Wow, look at you, you're beautiful!" Nix said, looking at her in her dress. He then spun her around so he could see the entire dress and then hugged her again.

"Well, it seems we already have the dress. Now all we need is the cake and your suit Nix." Larson said looking at Nix's clothes. "And by the looks of it, we have alot of work ahead of us."

"Yea, about that...." Nix started to ease away, but Chao blocked his path. Linia then put her arm on his arm, making him calm down. He looked at her eyes and just gave in. "Alright, I'll go. But I'm taking you two with me."

Nix went by Larson and Chao grabbing them by the arm and heading out.

"May I ask, where is it we are heading?" Larson asked Nix, keeping up with his pace. Nix stopped and let go, turning to face them.

"To be honest, I really have no idea. Hey Chao! You know any good tailors?"

[Tigger!]

"I can sew!" Eregorn said, seeing no other option, followed Nix and the group. "I'm multi-talented that way :D...all I need are measurements...unless someone else wants to do it..." Eregorn said, pulling out a tape measure.

Zeke walked up casually. He gave everyone a warm smile and turned to Nix.

"I could provide entertainment, being able to control fire and all. I could give a really fascinating show if you would like."

Saya popped into Linia's room right behind Ali and said "I can help to."

[Bulzeeb]

"Eregorn get the measurements, I think there is something I can let Nix wear." he said.

He gave her a small smile but he need the measurements before he could start. He knew his father gave him a suit like shirt so he thought that might work. His tired legs wouldn't let him move around too much as it started to hurt.

Pandora noticed the commotion and walked into the room. After picking up some bits and pieces of the conversation she grasped what had happened... Not like it was very surprising.

We all knew it was going to happen sometime... she thought.

"Congratulations, you two!" she exclaimed, "Oh, and I'll also help with stuff too."

[Tigger!]

"Mmkay." Eregorn said as she started to measure. She wrote the measurements onto a piece of paper and handed it to Chao.

[Miss Understood]

"I could help with entertainment, or make the cake, pretty much anything. Oh, we could have penguins with bowties serving the cake!" Ali said, coming up with wacky ideas as usual.

[Tigger!]

"Ohmigosh! That would be so cool!" Eregorn said to Ali. "We can add that to the sketch. Let's go find a spot and we can start making it." Eregorn said as she started down a flight of stairs.

[Forgotten Hero]

"Yall can have the wedding down by the lake and I can make huge fountain and set it off with the big moment comes" said Saya as she began getting over excited.

[Miss Understood]

"Wait, we have to make sure that the people of the hour like it." Ali said, still a wee bit irked that Eregorn took over her job...But she'll get over it.

[Tigger!]

Eregorn said to Ali, reading her irked expression "How about you draw it and we'll both make finnishing touches? I can only recreate all of this sketch anyway. It would only make more sense if you did it."

Nix seemed to have disappeared from the face of the Earth, for everyon who started asking questions again, couldn't find him. They all searched franticly for him, but couldn't find him. A shadow was cast over the the open space near the lake that would allow this marriage to finally happen, and by tracing the shadow, one could find Nix, standing overhead, trying to imagine everything as everyone suggested. They were all good ideas, but he didn't know if Linia would like them, or if that was even the theme. He thought of saying no to them, but he didn't want to be rude, and his head started to hurt from all the stress. He then calmy started to breathe, easing his stress level, and went after Linia so that they could make the decisions together, for he wouldn't be able to say no.

Meanwhile, the hills of the back entrance to the school were now empty, but instead, a trail of energy could be felt from the trail, down to the school, dangerously close to everyone, yet most were too preoccupied with their own ideas and thoughts, that they didn't even notice it.

[Bulzeeb]

"Linia lets go my head is starting to hurt." Chao said holding his stomach.

"Ok then lets go find Nix, I really don't see how you can be walking right now." Linia said.

Chao started to walk out the door with Linia behind him as he walking was rather bad. Since the battle he found himself having to walk around with nearly opened wounds. Linia was helping her younger brother out as they walked outside. They both were unaware of the energy flow that was coming Linia just wanted to find Nix.

Nix caught Linia's scent near the edge of the roof, which totally caught him off gaurd. He smelled her scent, forgetting everything, floating like one of those cartoons, but instead of hovering above the ground, he found himself falling towards it, landing on his face right infront of Linia and Chao. He looked up, dirt all over his face, slowly getting up. He brushed off the muk from his face, feeling Linia's arms around him. He knew she was worried about him, but when she let go of Chao, he noticed that his condition seemed to worsen.

"Uhh, Linia, I know you're worried about me too, but let's get Chao a wheel chair or something so he doesn't stress his body too much, you know?" Nix said holding Linia's hands.

[Bulzeeb]

"I'm fine glad I can make my own medicine or else I would have bleed to death." Chao said.

"So mom showed you didn't she...anyways Chao can handle himself he won't let himself die." Linia said with a small smile.

Chao stood up still holding his stomach trying to keep his blance. He found it hard but he would mange as long as he didn't have to fight. Something came from behind Chao he wasn't able to turn around. To his suprise it was one of Mali's puppets trying to help him. Mali appeared along with Zo who just barely got outside.

"How my favorite wolf demon going?" Mali asked Chao.

"Bad to tell you the turth it hurts to walk." he repiled.

"Well Mali you going to help Chao out with walking?" Zo asked her sister.

"Yeah since he still badly injured." Mali said.

"Thanks Mali, I hope everyone doesn't realize we left." Chao said.

[Grey Angel]

"Yea, about that...." Nix looked over to his window, and for some reason, things were being thrown out of it. With closer inspection, one could see that they were all paper balls, probably everyone inside trying to perfect their ideas for the wedding.

The group looked at eachother, a bit worried. They all went back to Linia's room so that she wouldn't ruin her dress before the actual wedding. The guys all waited outside while the girls all helped Linia with her dress.

"So, have you decided on the food?" Larson asked Nix.

"Oh, about that...." Nix looked over outside and so did the others. They saw a large truck, steaming from what looked like a blast of energy with food all around it.

"What did you do?"

"I sneezed, the smog went up my nose and made me cough-sneeze."

Larson and chao both shook their heads, knowing the Nix couldn't go a day without being himself. Larson then took out a small booklet and a pen.

"So what do you want to serve, I'll bring in the order."

"Hmm, how about, steaks, lots of steaks of different styles! Flank, grilled, skillet, with all types of marinades and stuff! But we need Linia's ideas too." The guys then waited for Linia and the girls to come out of the room so that they could decide on food.

[Bulzeeb]

"Almost done Linia...there perfect!" Mali said cheerfuly.

"Thanks Mali lets go now I think Nixy is waiting." Linia said opening the door.

When the door opened Linia, Zo, and Mali came walking out. Chao was leaning agnist the wall trying not to let his wounds hurt him. Linia walked over to Nix and hugged him tightly she smiled happly. Mali walk over to Chao offering to carry him to the site. He smiled putting his arm around her neck she started walking a little Chao followed.

"Hey Zo whatever happened to Kaullor?" Chao asked.

"Yeah what did happen to him?" Linia asked.

"I dunno to tell you the truth he went off somewhere like usual." Zo replied.

[Grey Angel]

"Yea, so what do you want to be served?" Larson asked Linia, waiting for what she would want to eat. Nix stepped over to Zo and leaned over.

"Yea, when do you think Kaullor will get here? He's suppossed to be one of the Groom's Men." Nix whispered.

A figure stood atop the roof, the cloak helping it blend into the shadows of the trees upon the roof. One could see wings from the back, but they were mishapen, deformed.

"So does everyone know the plan?" The figure nearest the light said to no one in particular. It was a strong feminine voice, yet no one in the school heard it.

"Uhh, I forgot what I do." said a childish voice from the deepest part of the shadows. It was obviously that of a little girl. She stepped forward a bit, revealing wings that looked torn and scathed.

"Ugh! Jesin. How many times do we have to go over this?"

"Uhh, I don't know, until I remember?" The child asked innocently.

"You're going to sneak up to the alter using your abilities. Then, when tey kiss, you strike!"

"Uhh, ok, but can I do it around that time?"

"Fine, once you strike, we will attack."

[Forgotten Hero]

Tk was just walking around the school looking at all the chaos then he saw someone leaning on the wall and he asked "Why is everyone so chaotic right now?"

[Miss Understood]

"There's going to be a marriage." Ali said as she almost started sketching some of her ideas, but caught herself just in time and sighed.

[Bulzeeb]

"He should be back before it starts." Zo whispered back.

Chao started to walk away for a moment until he nearly fell down. His left leg started to bleed as he reopened the wound, pain was shot through out his leg. He fell onto his knees in pain, as he started to cough up blood as he reopened his chest wound. His vision blurred as he felt like he was about to pass out. Mali ran over towards Chao helping him up as he felt sick and was about to pass out.

"Mali...could you take me to Eregorn I need my wounds to be healed." Chao said.

"Ok then, I will be back guys if you need me talk with my puppet." Mali said before leaving carrying Chao.

Mali left in search of Eregorn hopefully she could help heal his wounds. She worried as she didn't want to lose her friend she known for a long time. Chao gave off a smile the best he could but ended up coughing up more blood.

"I hope he will be alright since he is Kaullor's brother. Anyways I want to know what happened to the idiot named Chaos?" Zo asked.

[Forgotten Hero]

Ryu was walking down the hall with all of his spirits following behind him, and he saw Mali carrying Chao, and he could tell that he was hurt badly, So he sent Tashin and Karin over there to see if they could heal him just enough so he could find a real healer.

"Hope that helps Chao" said Ryu.

[Tigger!]

Eregorn turned a random corner and saw Chao and said running to him "You should have told be earlier! I would have been able to heal this a while ago."

Her hands went over his chest wound first and her hands glowed white. "Wow...these are pretty bad." Then, she put her hands over his leg wound and her hands did the same thing. "I'm really not sure how my healing going to hold, these were pretty bad. You gotta take it easy, or even with my healing, they'll re-open...again."

Tears started to flow out her her eyes...

"I had my spirits heal him the best they could, but they are still new at healing" said Ryu.

[The Sufferer]

Brock watched the festival of tumultuous people through thick glasses. They distorted the light, bending and darkening his vision, and his outlook. Darkened forms swelled and flowed around him, stuck in an eternal dance, the faces saddened.

"Such love..."

[Bulzeeb]

"I'm sorry; I didn't want you to worry about it so I kept it to myself." Chao said.

He still felt bad and now dizzy at the same time. This was the worse mix every as he could barely stand, there was weakness in his legs. Mali was saddened to see this she couldn't stand see him in pain. A tear run down her face this was the first time he had seen Mali cry.

"Mali...tell the others I won't be going." Chao said.

"Ok I will...Eregorn please make sure Chao is healed for me. I don't want to lose him, since he is one of my friends." Mali said.

She started to walk away as she was headed back to the others. When she turned the corner she had busted into tears. She couldn't hold back her tears as she let to pour.

"Chaos...he was killed by Chao. I really don't know why but it happened then my father came." Linia said with a little fear tone.

Zo looked at her for a moment before accepting the truth. Yet there was much confusion behind it; the more she thought the harder it was to understand. She nodded her head in agreement and the question had been partly answer but wasn't brought up again.

[Tigger!]

"They did alright for beginners. Hold on a sec..." Eregorn said as she went to a window.

"What're you doing?" Ryu asked.

"Chao obviously can't walk so I'm making a stretcher." Eregorn said as they saw a big chunk of earth fly in. "Oops! Too far." Eregorn said as the earth continued to fly past them. "I'm not used to doing rock in the air. Crap! I really hope no dirt just got into some of the smaller cuts...wait, you wanna go to the infirmary or to your room?" Eregorn asked as the earth started to form itself into a rectangular shape.

[Forgotten Hero]

"Don't worry about the stretcher, my spirits can carry him." said Ryu.

[Tigger!]

"That works. That way there's no risk of infection. That's what I was most worried about. Infections can be deadly and well...your weakened as it is." Eregorn said, putting the earth back outside.

[Bulzeeb]

"Thank you take me to my room. I got medicine and medical supplies. This is not as bad as when I fought Chaos." Chao said.

"Whos Chaos...huh Chao?" Eregorn asked.

"I'll explain once we get into my room, its a very long story you might want to hear." Chao said.

He gotten himself up without realizing he reopened his wound on his right leg. Suddenly he felt warm blood through his pants, pain was shot through out his leg. He held in the scream but could numb the pain as it continued to go through his leg.

"Dammit this hurts so bad hurry and get me to my room." Chao said.

[Forgotten Hero]

"Shiro, Eno, Saruno create a barrier around Chao, Tashin, and Karin, and while they carry him Tashin and Karin you keep healing Chao as best you can." said Ryu.

"Okay" said his spirits as they began to do as they was told.

When they reached his room they layed him gently on his bed, and released the shield around him.

"Okay Tashin and Karin yall stay with Chao, and heal him when he needs it, and Chao just send them back when your doing good." said Ryu.

[Tigger!]

"Don't even try to get up. I told you to take it easy! And now I sound like a parent!" Eregorn said as she tried to make Chao as comfortable as she could.

[Bulzeeb]

"I'm sorry; I only tried to move as I thought of my training. This sorta thing happens but I never suffered wounds like I do now...thats why I became a medicine maker to treat my wounds." Chao said trying to get comfrotable but finding it hard.

He started to think of his battle with Hirreno as this was the reason why he was in this condition. Every moment flashed before him as the wounds told the story more than he could think about it. His mind slipped into darkness for a few moments as he trying to think but could. It returned and his thoughts were more clear than before, he looked at Eregorn.

"Sorry about this Eregorn, I really didn't think I would push my body that far. That and I glad your here, since you can help me some until my wounds heal which I'm thankful for." He said with a smile.

[Forgotten Hero]

"Eregorn heal him the best you can, and then Tashin and Karin can create a magical wrap to hold the wounds closed" said Ryu.

[Tigger!]

"Sounds good, Ryu." Eregorn said as she put her hands over his bleeding leg and murmured something in Elvish.

[Forgotten Hero]

When Eregorn was done healing Chao Tashin and Karin began making signs in the air.

"This may hurt a little" said Karin as she began wrapping a magical wrap around all of Chao's wounds.

As Karin did the wraps Tashin began pressing down on them to seal them.

"Okay there that is all we can do for right now, but we will stay here with him just in case." said Tashin.

[Grey Angel]

Larson was with Nix back at his room, secluded from the others so that they could plan things out.

"So, everything seems to be going to plan. Everyone has their clothes, the food's picked out, and the theme is all set!" said Nix.

"Well, you should also think about any danger that may come into play." said Larson, calm and cool.

"Why would anything bad happen?"

"Well, think about it, a queen and king, marrying, with enemies still alive, and when bonded by marriage, will become powerful, much more powerful than before."

"You have a point, but I highly doubt anyone would attack. But still, if you think that it'll help, go ahead and do what you need to do."

"Alright then, well, I suggest you start getting dressed, everything's about to start."

Larson left his room, staring stright ahead as he walked. He passed by a select few, telling them to be ready to fight, Zo and Chao were the first two he told. He kept walking, as if nothing happened, standing gaurd over the entire area from the roof. He looked down at his feet and saw a small feather. He examined it and threw it into the wind.

"I knew you left a feather back there! Do you want them to catch us!"

"No, it's like human hair, it just fell off!"

"Oh shut it! Just get ready. We have no idea what this loser is capable of, but it looks as if he doesn't have a clue that we're here."

The figures were in the shadows, where Linia and Nix were suppossed to marry, ready to strike at a moments notice.

[Bulzeeb]

"This is perfect he expects me to gurad my sister even though I'm still injuried. Anyways mind taking me outside I have to do something quickly." Chao said.

Zo was outside thinking about how did she end up on gaurd duty. She just walked around looking for anything starnge as she had her weapon withdrawn.

"Jeez, how did I end up on gaurd duty?" Zo asked herself.

She let out a sigh as her mind wondered, then she wanted to know what Kaullor was doing. Then that started to go through her mind as she had forgotten what she was doing.

[Tigger!]

"Wheel chair? I don't think they'll reopen again, but its a possibility. Or would you rather try to walk with help and risk it?" Eregorn asked.

[Grey Angel]

OOC: Wow, I've been gone for this long, and it's still highlighted, who knew?

Nix came out with his suit on, looking all nice and neat. His hair was combed flat, he had some cologne put on him, even if he didn't like it, and he was now much more presentable than before. The guests started to poor in through the gates where they presented their invitations. Larson was making last minute preperations before everything got started.

"Alright, so far so good, we just need Linia and you to prepare, whatever it is you need to prepare." Larson said to Nix.

"Man, this is so nerve wracking, I'm shivering!" Said Nix hugging himself.

"Well, you are standing right next to the open door of the freezer."

"Oh, I guess so." Nix moved away standing net to Larson, looking out at the seats starting to get filled. "Man, to think, two kingdoms shall unite under our bonding, a bond that nothing can break. This moment is so perfect, and the best part, it wasn't arranged!"

"Uhh, yea. Well, I suggest you go through your lines before we start."

"Alright, later." Nix left the room, leaving Larson by himself.

"I just hope nothing bad happens, and that he didn't brag about...." Larson looked above where he heard a loud humming sound, which turned out to be a large blimp reading, "NIX AND LINIA'S WEDDING HERE!" He just stood there, watching at it. "...It. Well, if that isn't a target, then I don't know what is. Better get security ready."

He then left to go search for the others who were suppossed to join in the ceremony.

[Bulzeeb]

"What is that fool doing..." Chao thought to himself.

He had glanced outside to see the blimp that Nix must have gotten. He sighed, as he still wondered how his older sister was getting married to an idiot. The thought left his mind as he forgotten what Eregorn said to him before.

"Oh sorry a wheelchair will be nice." Chao replied with a warm smile.

Zo had looked up to see the blimp also confusion was brought onto her. She looked down in disappointment, as she waited for something good to happen. So she sat down on the ground and started to think as many thoughts came to her mind.

"What could have happened to Kaullor?" she asked herself.

Linia went walking trying to catch Nix's scent as she wanted to talk with him. When she went outside she had saw the sign in the sky her face brighten up.

[Miss Understood]

"Oh no you don't Linia, it's bad luck for the bride and groom to see eachother before the wedding!" Ali said, walking up to Linia from behind. "I saw you trying to find Nix! Everything will be just fine. Think about it, a marriage is forever. If you want to talk about something, you'll have forever to talk about it after this is over." She sighed with happiness. "Wow, to have someone to lean on for the rest of your life...I hope I can get married someday..."

[Grey Angel]

Larson gathered the troops who didn't have an assignment, which was just about everyone except from Chao, Zo, and Kaullor, but no one could find him. The preacher was no where in sight, and the families were already seated, laughing at the blimp and even the occassional "aw." Larson then found a note that had Nix's hand writing.

"Larson, uh, HI! Yea, well, turns out, the priest was human, and when he heard about this, freaked out and totally, like, left. I chased after him, but he thought I was snarling at him, I don't know why. But the jerky I was chewing at the time was awesome! Anyways, the clothes he had, are right there, except we had someone make them from here, so yea... thanks for bonding us! -Nix"

Larson looked at the fabrics he now had to wear, raising them up to him, where he measured that they would cover his feet and legs. He sighed and put them on, not even bothering to pick up the hat or book. "Nix, he is an odd one he is, but hopefully, he will gain some knowledge from all of this."

Larson stepped outside, and went to the alter. He didn't care how it went down, as long as it went smoothly. He just to get out of the clothes, and sleep.
