Get lucky, or trade with someone who has it. That's about it. I think this is in the Dynamicpunch guide, look there first.

You get it very rarely. Its even rarer than a shiny pokemon.

But you have to battle a pokemon ( wild ) that carries the pokerus. Then when you go to heal your pokemon, Nurse Joy will say you have the pokerus.

So yeah, you need HUGE luck to get it.

Also, you have to use physical based attacks, I think.

I checked on my magic reference of glory, it's actually the same odds as a shiny; of course it's still rarer than anything. Your best bet is to trade with someone who has something that's infected by it and infect all of your Pokémon.

No, it is almost twice as rare as a shiny. you also just have to defeat it. The nurse will tell u your pokémon has pkrs, it only last 48 hours, but if you put the pokémon in the PC, it will restart the process!
This way, you can infect your pokémon by merely withdrawing it, walking around with it in your party, and put it back! Pokémon who have lost the pkrs can never get it back, and a black dot will appear between it's gender and level to show its immunity. The bad thing is that, since it's about 1/8000 (yes, 1/8000, I'm not kidding you here) and, unlike shinies, you can't tell right away, it is one of the most impossible things in the game. Besides, you can get more or less the same effect by using macho brace. why walk around it the wild for hours, no DAYS when you can use a hold item with the mere price of decreased speed?

because then you cant use power items

Well, it's still easier than battling pokémon n the wild 8,000 times.

thats why you trade for it

I guess, but there are millions of pokés on the GTS, how are you supposed to be lucky enough to get a pkrs, and who would be dumb enough to trade a pkrs infected poké? Also, any of your friends having it is unlikely as you having it.

well its easy to spread and if you go to the wifi forum plenty of people im sure would be happy to trade it for something

Still easier to use Macho Brace

SuperSimon

no because if you use the macho brace you cant use poweritems which are much better

Well, it'sanyines choice, but it's still to difficult to obtain to be part of the process in training pokés.

Yeah. All in all, I would use the macho brace.

no the best way to ev train is to get pkrs use poweritems and use vs seeker on certain trainers

I got a level 100 Mothim w/ pokerus in the GTS

Uh, Pokérus can be spread among all of your Pokémon when you get it, so it wouldn't be "dumb" to trade it away. Just really, really nice.

You can ask around GW and see if anyone has it, but it looks like if someone does they would have offered their FC already.

Yeah. All in all, I would use the macho brace.
(sorry merge)
It's actually the least effective item. Think about it. Most trainers have +1 EV Pokémon or +2. Some if you're lucky have a team of +3s.

If you used a Macho Brace and Pokérus on a trainer with one +3 Pokémon, this is what would happen:
3 * 2 * 2 = 12 EVs

If you used a Power Item instead:
(3 + 4) * 2 = 14 EVs

The difference is even greater for 2 and 1 EV trainers. Power Items are much better.

I got a level 100 Mothim w/ pokerus in the GTS
Which is useless, since you can't gain EXP at lvl. 100.

I got a palkia with pokerus from GTS.
How do I spread it to my other pokemon?
Also I have macho brace, would giving macho brace to pokerus pokemon make it quadruple or would the macho brace only slow it down?

to spread pokerus to you others just battle with the palkia. that's how i infected all of mine. i put the one with pokerus in the front and battled wild pokemon and checked every 5 battles or so, and usually between 5-20 battles all the others with me had it. then just go and trade with your others in your boxes, once those are all done you can infect them as you catch them.
