Defeated Mesprit?

My younger son defeated Mesprit and saved. Is there any way to ever capture him again or do we have to start over?

You can't capture it again. You can start over or try to get one off of the GTS.
You can also trade for one in the Wi-Fi zone.

You don't have to have mesprit. you don't need any ledgendary pokemon, period.

I feel your son's pain! I beat my Mesprit too on accident. Basically, you'll need to look on the GTS and see if there are any "reasonable" offers. If you're crafty you can hack a Mesprit with Action Replay and "pokesav" (a PC program for this kind of hacking). Otherwise, uh, nothing really.

You can't capture it again but u can log on to the GTS and find some set for trade but u need WI-FI though.

You don't have to have mesprit. you don't need any ledgendary pokemon, period.

You don't need them true, but for anyone who is attempting to complete his dex or wants to take advantage of Mesprit's unique stats, will probably work like hell to achieve it.

Since I never use hacking as a last resort, you're only option is trading from a friend on on the GTS.

or you can start over...save before you battle him...and make sure you have alot!!!! of ultraballs... if you do end up accidentaly beating it....RELOAD... itll take a while...but im sure everybody already knows that...

I'm not sure if this will work but. . . Just in case save before you face it, [ So you can start over if what I have to say doesnt work ] purposly beat it [But im talking about the two that dont wander around, so if this works for them it will work for Mesprit the wandering one] go to the cave in Celestic town and try and look for them, or a staircase, im not sure I haven't tried this yet, ill try it and return with results. . .

No it does not work. . . so do NOT attempt this if you want to keep and capture the three Pshychic's [How do you spell that word again?]

It's spelled Psychic.:P
And it's not worth starting the game over for. Just trade for one to have it in your Dex.
