I am aiming for a Porygon-Z with Adaptability. I would prefer to breed a Porygon who has this ability from the start, so I can be sure it will have the ability later, but this cannot happen. Porygon can have either Download or Trace. PZ can also have Download, but not Trace. Will the ones that Have trace evolve into ones that have Adaptability? In general, I suppose I am asking: How do I know what ability I will get in an evolved pokemon when the evolved forms have different abilities than their predecessors?
I ask about Porygon because I only have the items to evolve one of them, and I want to make sure it's a good one. Thanks.
