I noticed that Hall showed up and wrestled for the JCW event. I also know that he's done some recent PR stuff for them. So I'm wondering, do you think that he's purposely no-showed for TNA and in Puerto Rico to "sabotage" those promotions. I can't imagine why he'd do that (I don't know how much money JCW has), but it's so weird that he shows up for them and no one else. I guess it could be a birds-of-a-feather thing (Hall's a piece of trash, and so is ICP)...it's confusing.

I've read about it and the whole situation, and the most I can gather from it is that Hall was depressed because he couldn't spend time with his family. He no-showed the two biggest, most prominent promotions he was working for (WWE in Puerto Rico, where he was their main champion, and TNA, where he was in the main storyline). He probably dealt with his issues as much as possible, and didn't want to screw over JCW...
It reminds me of how a lot of wrestlers had loyalty to RoH and IWA: MS over TNA and wouldn't work just for TNA when they asked them to. I realize that's a different situation entirely, but I feel there's some loyalty between wrestlers and smaller promotions that give them chances when nobody else would.
Who knows, though... Scott Hall is pretty f*cked up. Who knows what's going through his mind?

A lot of wrestling fans hate JCW because its ran by Insane Clown Posse but I think thats just hate for ICP and they dont care to pay attention to the wrestling. But its not that confusing.
A lot of wrestlers and I do mean a lot of wrestlers have wrestled for JCW and have gone on to wear ICP Merch when they wrestle.
Hall when he did appear on TNA was showing up in the ICP Hockey Jersey and Sabu has a pair of wrestling tights with the Hatchetman on them that he wore on TNA and a lot of wrestlers have even gone as far to get tattoos of the ICP Logos on their body and they proudly represent ICP.
I like JCW because I like to watch Trent Acid and Human T and you gotta love how JCW has put Zach Gowen over as a Heel. And I do like ICP because they are like the only band that makes wrestling references in just about every song they do. As a wrestling fan you dont have to be a fan of their music but you feel a little extra special when you get the references. Or atleast I do. There is a current song by Weezer where he talks about New Jack which is aweosome as well.
With all of that said I think it is a similar thing Dean....some wrestlers if given the choice will pick RoH over TNA. I think some wrestlers love working for JCW rather it be drugs or just the crowd and ICP gets a lot of Hardcore Legends to come in and wrestle and what can I say...someone like Scott Hall or Sabu...JCW is a second home.
Even some WWE Wrestlers like The Hardys will always try to hit some local Carolina Feds when they can. They love supporting their local talent and esp. Shannon Moore who gets in there and trains some guys and then he wrestles them and puts them over for the local crowd.
I much rather wrestlers love what they are doing than just showing up because its the bigger paying job.

The crowd for JCW is truly the only crowd that really reminds me of the old ECW crowd or something, I mean, just really die hard fans that are really tough to work in front of but really get into the product.
I'm personally a fan of the product, it has some of the best workers in the world on the roster and ICP, despite the hate, know what the fans want to see. They give them exactly what they want, even if sometimes it is something cheap like Hall starting up the "JWO" or whatever, but I mean, it works and is fun and is violent and a lot of other things.

I think a lot of people have had enough of Hall now.
I think if this return had gone well then he could have been back in the WWE for another run, but his no-showing has done him no favours at all.

I keep waiting to open up this forum and see a thread titled, "Scott Hall found dead". The guy needs serious help. I think that he's overestimating his value, and is quickly becoming Lex Luger.

As much as Hall has drug and drinking problems I wouldnt be suprised if we saw a Suicide before an overdose or just found dead (from a heart attack) type thing.

Well first off, ICP being a piece of trash is your opinion, which I happen to disagree with seeing as I am a juggalo. Im sure Hall has his reasons for what he does, maybe Hall himself is a juggalo and didnt want to let down Shaggs and J by no showing them. On the other side, maybe he doesnt care so much about WWE or TNA regarding his long term relationship with them.

I just don't think that they're very professional at times, much like Hall. As I write this however, my face is painted up like Shaggy 3 Dope. :paranoid:
If Hall doesn't care, THEN DON'T TAKE THE BOOKINGS!

I don't really care what ICP does in music, "art", or other forms of entertainment. But when it comes to wrestling, that's where I draw the line.
Some people appreciate what they've done for wrestling. No doubt, they are wrestling fans. However, they aren't really the kind of fans I like... They don't support the kind of atmosphere I want. But if other people appreciate it, then cool. I still think the commentary, the set-up, the way they portray wrestlers and everything... it's disrespectful and low brow and not entertaining to me. However, they fill a niche that nobody else in the world is currently doing. It's sort of like a dark, twisted, aggressive form of Chikara in some ways, with the comedy of it all...
But yeah, if Hall doesn't want to work for a promotion, he shouldn't f*cking say, "Yeah, I'll be there."

I agree with Dean. I find the way they portray professional wrestling is very disrespectful to the business. I don't see how any pro wrestler with any respect for themselves as wrestlers, or the business as a whole, can really agree to work for their promotion. Now, on to the point of this topic. What Scott Hall did should not be a surprise to anyone at this point given his past. Granted, he's never no-showed a promotion atleast not one as big as TNA, but it's not as if it was completely unexpected. I wasn't surprised in the least when I heard that Hall had no showed. And I still kind of think he may have been paid off by someone to do it.

I love when people act like being a Juggalo is actually.
A thing. That should be considered.
All it means is you're a fan of bad wrestling and bad rap.
Cena fan? Probably.
Anyway. I think the important thing isn't does JCW suck, which it does, or does Hall care about TNA, which he probably doesn't. The fact is if you're booked and advertised on a show. You show up unless you're physically incapable of showing up. And if Hall can show up for JCW he should have been able to show up for his other bookings.
