I don't know if anyone watches this. It's a phone in show presented by Gary Newbon. I'm actually making this thread to complain about it.

Is it just me or does he seem very rude to most callers? Rushing them and dismissing their opinions.

Anyway, that's not what prompted me to make this thread. What did was what he said after a caller complained about Mikel and Ronaldo play acting.

What really pisses me off is that just one week after Ronaldo clearly dived against Liverpool, Gary Newbon said "Oh come on, he's cut that out of his game".

And to make it worse, one of the guests, who was obviously unimportant because I can't remember his name, tried to defend Ronaldo's diving, claiming that it's Ronaldo's speed that causes him to go down so easily. What a f*cking joke!

Just had to get this rant off my chest.

To be honest I haven't watched the show itself in ages. I prefer to listen to radio phone ins in the car. There are better things to actually watch on television than this.

On the subject of this caller, it sounds somewhat ludicrous. I'll be the first to admit that Ronaldo has certainly cut down on the amount of diving, but anyone who thinks that he wasn't diving all over the place against Liverpool like the Ronaldo of old needs their eyes tested. Once again in a big game he was ineffective, only this time he decided to make a prat out of himself by diving. To be fair, the referee wasn't conned by it once, which is why I wonder how Ronaldo wasn't booked for diving in that match. He should have been.

The defense of him diving seems as equally as ludicrous. Clearly the person making those claims doesn't know what it's like to try to maintain your balance when running at speed. Yes, it is harder to stay up when you're clipped when running at speed. But that makes you stumble. It doesn't make you leap into the air like something out of the Olympics and crash into the ground clutching a random shin.
