Did sega ever

Did sega ever update the Game Gear like the ds ds lite etc.
Because I wanted one if they ever fixed how much batterys it used

If I remember right, that handheld system guzzled batteries like there was no tomorrow. It was the SUV of hand-held gaming devices, really.

If you count the "Nomad" as an update, then yes. If I remember correctly, it played both Game Gear and Genesis games...
