I was overall pleased, I found the game to be pretty damn slow in the beginning. I found the Dawn Brigade and the whole trying to free Daein from the oppression of Begnion to be boring. I got into the game more once Part 1 ended and I could play as Elincia and eventually Ike. The story was pretty good, liked how all of Tellius went to war and people were on different sides, my only complaint is that I wish they would've given the player the option as to which side they wanted to participate in. Again, thought the whole Dawn Brigade side was more tedious than enjoyable. I was excited to see that the Black Knight returned, even more when one gets to control him. The BK's identity was a pretty good shock, although I kind of had that pegged after playing PoR so many times, he was the only charcter with the necessary build to be the BK.

Aside from that, my only real complaints are that on the translation side and the support convo's. Who ever was in charge of that should be shot. I particularly like Muriam's character bio. Being the perfectionist that I am, that kind of stuff gets me, and the fact that they didn't have a support conversation room this time around. Although, a support room for this game would be pointless because the only conversations that are different are the people who initiate the conversation, the person responding says the same short speech to the other character and as a result they sometimes make little sense. Anyway, those are my thoughts on the game. Would like to start another game, but I don't think I can sit through another 70+ hours of it. Well, I could, but I have a lot of other titles to jump into. Glad to see the length of the FE series has been upped quite a bit from PoR and the GBA installments though.

Length AND difficulty. Or at least the difficulty would be way higher if not for how they trashed their golden rule of "no saving in the middle of a battle and going back to that save later", luckily for me I didn't realize that until I was already fighting Ashera, because otherwise I would probably have caved to temptation what with all the times I had to reset.

I was surprised when Ranulf suddenly revealed the identity of the Black Knight, they did that part of the plot well. Once they said it though I felt stupid for not realizing it on my own sooner, since as you said, I suddenly noticed that their build was the same, they practically have the same silhouette. Plus I was wondering how Zelgius could be so friggin powerful and pwn Scrimir with such ease.

My only complaint is the disappointment that even though their were technically 3 tiers, it wasn't how we expected since tier 2 pretty much replaced tier 1. And the continued lack of multiplayer nags me a little, but overall I still loved this game to death. It was just so EPIC.

The battle save option threw me off because I was treating it like the suspend feature from other FE games. So I'd do a battle save and it wouldn't take me to the main menu, I thought there was something wrong with my game. Only later did I find out that the suspend feature is only available in hard/maniac mode. I used the battle save once at the very end because Micaiah a level 19 Light Priestess and had pretty shi*ty speed, so I kept re-doing the part until she got a level where I was blessed with one more speed stat.

I like that part better. Its easier to upgrade people (Edward got upgraded and an S sword ability by the end of Ch.5 and Aran upgraded in Ch.7) and the non-repetitive characters makes it more....new. The only thing I don't like is the low stat characters (Meg and Fiona).

I beat it in Hard. Ants! Are you saying that you thought the game was too easy? Die in a fire >_>When I played it first through Easy, I used the battle save because I had other things to do at the time, and when it didn't suspend, I was like "Damned stupid...Americans...V_v;"
