Well, do you? I have been known to play the arcade version of Hydro Thunder quite a bit, and back in my arcade gaming days (when some of y'all were too young to hold the joystick) I played the sit-down table version of PacMan. OH! And Road Blasters. That was great.

The arcades around here suck. The popular games they have are so cheapo dancing games (people cheat using the handle bars) and a bunch of those things that you get tickets out of when you do good.

If get a chance, I'd play Crazy Taxi, House of the Dead, Hydro Thunder, and any of the Crusin' games.

Arcades just don't seem to be as inspiring as they used to be. If I go into one now it's normally with a few mates to play some rounds of pool, air hockey, or Virtua Cop/Time Crisis/House of the Dead. Pretty much exclusively lightgun games.

I play DDR a lot. Without the use of the handle bars, thank you.

It seems that all there is besides that is deer hunting games, pinball, and shooters. Meh. Arcade = lame nowadays.

There is pretty much a lack of arcades in my city. Sure, West Edmonton Mall has an alright arcade, but I miss the kooler older games like Ironman and the avengers, or bubble bobble. Pinball games can get pretty addicting for me. One time in Kelowna, I found a pinball game of Super Mario World and I didn't stop 'till I beat the game. You had to get a bunch of points, and you fought bosses from Super Mario World as you got more points... Good times.

The newer games are still kool though. I like the House of the Dead series, and the DDR games. The things I don't like are those rip-off prize games with nice prizes like games or ipods. I've never seen anyone win at those.

The games that are excellent without doubt aren't even video games. I say pool, air hockey, and table soccer are sweet without a doubt. Pool being my favorite.

Yeah, the only arcade game that I'm addicted to is DDR. This game seller in town has this thing... Panther or Jaguar or something.... some kind of game system I've never seen the likes of. It looks like it might be cartridge based, but it was still in the box so I haven't a clue. Anyone know what the heck it is?

Yeah that's the Atari Jaguar. I've never played one myself, but I've heard it is a pretty sweet system. I guess it came out even after the SNES. It has some pretty big controllers though. I'm pretty sure they're about 32 bit cartridges. I wanna get one of those someday. How much is the guy sellin' it for?

I don't recall precisely, but it was a good bit, seeing as it's still got the box. I can go and look again, but that may not be for a while. Winter has firmly rooted itself now, and walking places has become.... bad. But I will keep my eye out for you!

Atari Jaguar-I've heard it is a pretty sweet system.
You heard wrong. The system sucks, but only because there aren't many good games for it. If you get it, try to find Alien vs. Predator, it's supposed to be the best game on the system.
Oh yeah the controller (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7e/Jaguar_Controller.jpg)sucks too. Doom uses that key pad as a weapon selector.

That could very well be true seeing as how it did make the top 5 worst systems on Tech TV. However almost any system on this earth is good in my eyes. The Jaguar has enough games to be considered fair, but I'm still surprised it is known as a fourth generation system. After double checking, I see that it was actually a 64 bit system, which is most likely why it is considered fourth generation. But I really think this could be a fairly awesome system. This video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQaro-yjBqI) shows commercials for some of the games, let me know what you think.

Alright, I checked the prices as I promised. He no longer has the one still in the box, but the ones out of the box are $60 with games ranging from $5-30 depending on what you want. He's got tons of games so I didn't write anything down.

Those are some real good prices. I was expecting more than that. I hope I can find one. I'm pretty sure I've seen one on the internet for not too pricy. Thanks for checkin' Zelda.

Yes, I still play arcade games, only when I go to my local movie theatre because it is about the only small arcade still around!

I'm not much of an arcade person.. I was born in '89 so the first Video Game I remember playing is a Super Mario game for NES. I used to play a racing game sometimes when I would go to a restaurant/bar while I would wait for my food. Most of the time now I play a game of Pool with my brother while I wait. I don't think there are any real arcades around my area.. My dads friend used to own and arcade and he not only had arcade games he had big screen TVs and a few Xbox 360s (Not long after they came out) and Playstation 2s. But that failed and he went out of Business. My dad ended up buying me my first Xbox 360 from him after he closed down his arcade. I would like to to play the AOTS arcade machine though. Its about 14 feet tall. It has the world record for largest Arcade machine. Heres a picture of it..
