Any tips for beating this beast? I've done every other song on expert, but i can't seem to get past this mother *#@$# section. I've tried at least 20 times, and i can only get about 36% on the song. I always get the first to SP sections, but they only seem to delay my doom.

I've already done the campaign on hard, and i've practiced raining blood multiple times, but it's still not clicking. Does anyone have any advice they can give me, like a simple method or a way to "cheat" the notes? I'm already cheating on the triplets, since it seems to recognize constant, slow 8th notes as the "gallop".

I'm not really sure that there is a way to cheat this, just strum every fourth note to help you keep the rythym. Other than that, practise descending scales really quickly. For example, while I'm waiting for something to load, i always play descending scales for no reason and try and go as fast as I can. It may not be much but it does help. Good Luck!

I've gotten to 91% and failed, on my last try.

The only way is to practice those descending scales, and wait to use star power. After that it's really a matter of skill over luck.

Finally beat slayer on expert...... now i just have to take on Lou.... so far, the score is me 0, lou 7..... Any tips for that? So far i've tried three strategies:


Using my battle-powers whenever i see him entering a very hard section
Saving my powers and using them all at once
Using my battle-powers when i see that he has a power sequence coming up

So far, none of them have worked, and it seems that the 2nd one is the least likely to help me, since i can only get about 2 or 3 before Lou rains down hell on me with his powerups.

Any idea what the best strategy is for this "never miss" mofo?

EDIT: Scratch that, just beat him on expert. I got lucky and got a "whammy bar" attack on my first battle sequence. Right after i got the attack, i saw that lou had an ass-load of greens about to hit him, so i activated the whammy attack just as the series started and he failed pretty quick.

Grrrrr.. I hate you. I did that too, but he somehow held on and then beat me.

Raining Blood is a survival song. Save star power until the crazy solo, then survive the rest.
