Blade and block

early in thhe game what is a good place to raise these 2? i am an assassin and my blade skill is so low its criminal, and my block is even worse. you know its bad when you hit every block power attack perfectly and a wolf still kills you...

for block just go fight some mud crabs. i always do this as soon as i leave the sewers. just stand there and let them attack you.


as for blade there is a dadric shrine where you can raise your blade skill. i can't remember the name of it. it's the shrine with a bunch of followers that got there souls stuck in oblivion. you can just keep hitting them to raise your skill.

k where is this shrine? haveing my melee combat 10 points lower then my non combat is makeing it really habrd to fight certin things.
