Split Personality (Intro for James/Arana/Lythos/Joseph)

[The Sufferer]

The accident was the fuzziest of his memories, whenever he thought about it, he blacked out and woke up somewhere else, normally with a cryptic message from "Joseph". And that was a normal day. Other days, he found bodies of people laying at his feet, or a pool of tears on his shirt, even though he had no reason or memory of crying. It felt like something was... Missing. He started looking towards the future, always preparing. He was an optimist, always bright and cheery. One night, he blacked out again...

Lythos was finally free. The boy was easily tricked, and even more easily entrapped. He would have his bodycount tonight... But that fool Joseph kept meddling. He was clearly one of the strongest personalities, and therefore must be killed first... Then James, then he'd finally have Arana to himself... The familiar pain of her name filled his head. He shifted his large rifle so more blood could flow to it. He and the other three shattered psyches who were currently comatose made their macabre way across the school grounds in the milky, cold midnight. He smelled something... Blood was in the air. He shifted to a noise behind him, and shot a BloodRound at...

OOC: This sounds strangely similar to a novel that I love... Oh well, I love it, so I won't be mad.



...Eclipse, who disintegrated into a gust of wind, appearing behind Lythos with his staff outstretched towards the base of Lythos' neck.

"I have to admit, of all the three times I've been attacked for no reason in my life, this one is the one that's seemed the least likely. Care to explain yourself?" he said at Lythos.

[Miss Understood]

Sabine was lying in a tree, awakened by the sound of bullets. She had decided that she liked sleeping in trees. Sabine stayed silent, something that she was good at doing. She watched the newcomer, waiting for his explanation.

[The Sufferer]

"Do you really expect an answer? If you decide to kill me, you're gonna be killing three others alonside me.

Lythos disconnected the vein that linked him to his gun, and dark red blood poured out. As it hit, it made a high wall of twisting flames between Lythos and Eclipse. Suddenly, through the flames, Lythos' silhouette changed, growing shorter, thinner, and with longer hair...

"Who are you...?"

Came a young girl's voice. The flames shook at her voice, a wave of irreputable remore rolled out. Arana waited for an answer, unaware of why she was here, who was there, and where she was.

"Ok, that's just weird..." Eclipse thought, "Is it a transformation, trying to fool me? Or did he summon another person? Or... maybe... But she sounds sincere enough. We'll just have to play it out and see."

"I am Eclipse, and this is the School of Battle." Eclipse said.

[Miss Understood]

Sabine jumped silently out of the tree, ready to jump up and avoid a bullet at any time. She walked up behind the girl and said, "I'm Sabine...Do you plan on enrolling?" After she said it, she hoped that the girl wouldn't freak out.

[Forgotten Hero]

"What's going on here" said Saya as she appeared behind sabine

[Tigger!]

What's going on here, fools. Someone could get hurt with guns on the campose...who are you might I ask?" Earthorn appeared, seemingly, out of nowhere.

What is wrong here?Earthorn thought.Earthorn sensed something wasn't right with this being.

[Ahab]

"Fools? I hardly think anyone here is a fool. As it is though, what do you want with the school, stranger?" Pik said, walking out of the woods.

[Torturous Flame]

"hmm...odd...."Gale murmered, appearing next to Eclipse. "Multiple auras...the dark aura just passed..a new one has taken over.." THen she walked over to Arana, looking curious. "My name is Nightingale, What is yours?"

[Krazy Koco King]

Eclipse chuckled at Earthorn's comment.

"Guns are child's play here." Eclipse said, "There are things far, far, more dangerous."

Then he faced back to Arana for her reply to everyone's spontaneous appearances.

[The Sufferer]

Arana felt overwhelmed. So many people... So many separate powers... A single tear traced her cheek, dropping to the ground where it splashed. Fear and extreme guilt passed like a wave from Arana, and another tear trailed down her face.

"I'm Arana... I don't know what's happened here, or why. How'd I get here?"

Her eyes opened wide, her breathing came in short, quick rasps. The metal studs in her ears and lips melted away, her body twisted. The wall of flames left by Lythos slowly died, as Jospeh arose. He stood with a presence of a kind king, a protector. He smiled and began talking in a warm, open voice.

"Don't worry about explaining everything over again. I'm the one who's been ochestrating this ordeal. I know they'll be safe here, until we can rid ourselves of Lythos. Do you have a room? I need to sleep, and let James recuperate."

[Torturous Flame]

Gale blinked, suprised at the sudden aura change. She figured he (or they maybe?) would explain everything later. She glanced at Eclipse who nodded, he had an idea of what she planned.

'I will' came Silvio's reply to Gale's unspoken question.

She smiled at him. "Yeah, do you plan to enroll or just need a place to stay?"

[The Sufferer]

"Enroll. Now, I beleive a bit of an explanation is due. Having four people inhabiting one's body isn't a day-to-day thing."

Jospeh sat down, he tapped his slender staff to the ground, and a seat appeared.

"I used to be a cop. I was called up because of a robbery/triple homicide. The man who commited the heinous crime was none other than Lythos, who was know as his human name, Taylor Hetter. A chase insued, him on a Kawasaki motorcycle, me in my old police car. Arana, or Kimberly was crossing the street, in front of Lythos. James tackled her out of the way, just as Lythos swerved to avoid them. The motocycle struck Arana the worst, she died instantly. Lythos was the second worse off, being thrown off his bike and into the pavement at 75 miles per hour. I swerved the other direction, and collided with a pole, my air bag killing me instantaneously. James survived, and is the only one who is alive. by fate, our coniousness has mingled with his. Lythos is the only other consiousness that knows of the others, and I'd like it to stay that way, deal?"

Jospeh sighed, the long speech taking the wind out of him. He'd forgotten that, even though not truly his body, he stil had to breathe.

[Torturous Flame]

Gale smiled and nodded. "Ok, you seem tired, I think we should wait for you to enroll tommorow so you can get some sleep before hand. You can stay in someone's room in the meantime" Gale looked around for takers. Wile she did so she held out her arm and Silvio's miniturized form landed on it. "This is Silvio" 'Hello' Silvio said, looking down curiously at Jospeh. "He'll be watching you when you rest, just incase anything happens. If thats okay with you that is"

"Not that I doubt Silvio's abilities, but I too will be watching." Eclipse said, "We can't very well refuse you, so making sure Lythos doesn't get out of hand is the second-best option. I will also be sure to alert the teachers about your predicament... If they put both James and Arana on the class rosters, would that be satisfactory?"

[The Sufferer]

Joseph smiled warmly, education was always first in his mind.

"Yes, yes it would. Just make sure they have no classes together, I don't want them finding out until their both ready. It is about time James was allowed to resurface, so if you'd kindly step back..."

Jospeh looked heavenwards, his skin peeling off like a curtain. Below was a smaller male, clothed in what was once Jospeh's skin, transmorphed into clothes. He had a small single-handed sword in a sheathe by his left hip, and a gleam of trickery/defiance in his eye. Jospeh's memories mixed with his, but leaving out certain details that wouldn't fit.

"I thought this was the School of BATTLE! No one's even challenged me yet!"

[Tigger!]

"Hasty for a fight are ya? Why don't we get you a dorm first so if you get betten by anyone, you have a place to recuperate if you get hurt?" Earthorn asked.

[Krazy Koco King]

"Nah, he can fight right now. It's fine." Eclipse said.

"You, then?" James asked.

Eclipse chuckled.

"You don't want to fight me, boy, unless you really DO want to end up out for a week." he said, "No, I'm sure one of the others closer to your age would love to fight you."

[Torturous Flame]

"I'd rather not hospitalize you" Gale said when James looked at her. Maybe Silvio would? Silvio fluttered down to the ground, changing into his human form. He nodded "I'll take him"

[The Sufferer]

James smiled, wondering why everyone thought he could be hospitalized, he HAD walked away from a motorcycle wreck feeling better than normal. Then again, these people didn't seem normal...

"Okay. Let's go!"

He unsheathed his sword, measuring about 3', including the hilt. He was left-handed, but abidexterous, hopefully he'd be able to trip up Silvio. He waited patientally for Silvio to strike first, hating to be the agressor.

"This should be fun. I haven't seen a dragon fight in human form for the longest time." Eclipse commented, "Ah, those good days. My son loved dragons. He would love to be here watching this, I bet. Have I already told you youngsters that fact?"

In fact, he had.

[Forgotten Hero]

"Awww I wanted to have my first fight" said Saya.

[Miss Understood]

"What? You never had an initiation fight?" Sabine asked Saya.

[Forgotten Hero]

"Nope I was to busy trying to talk to Ryu." said Saya.

[Tigger!]

"Anyway..." Earthorn said.

[The Sufferer]

OOC: No she didn't, she's just... busy.

ooc: oops sorry. It'll be short cause I have an essay to write.

Silvio smiled sweetly, throwing James off slightly. Silvio, looking like any twelve year old child, turned his peaceful grin into a blood thirsty one. His form seemd to shake and split as a huge silver dragon erupted from the spot Silvio had been, it hurtled towards James.

[Forgotten Hero]

ooc: I know I just said that cause I felt like it.

[The Sufferer]

James eyes blinked, mathematics buzzing through his head. He'd always been a whiz at math, able to calculate Physics on the ball.

"Too much mass, accelerating to quickly, can't change it's direction fast enough."

Silvio simply roared.

"Guess you don't like math..."

James leapt straight up, which would've been a perfectly fine escape route... Had he not been battling a DRAGON. Silvio opened his mouth, and a blast of flame covered James. Bright sword slashes whirred and twisted in sihouettes from the flames. James landed, his cothes burned, and gasping for air. The ball of flame had disappeared around him.

"Swirling an object fast enough, makes a vacuum." James said, wheezing "Cuts off oxygen, kills fire. But I couldn't breathe..."

Silvio turned around and looked at him. James took the offensive, dancing around the dragon, striking at the flanks, sides, and belly while drawing away when Silvio reared his claws. No damage showed on either, the fight looked like it might last a while.

[Tigger!]

"Hey! A battle...my healing might be needed..." Eregorn walked out of the school and had fast-walked over to the battle.

"Yup, dragon vs. ummm...split-person-guy..." Earthorn replied.
