At the minimum, replace the following moves (not doing the ubers):
Piplup: Waterfall, Dig, (try to use special attacks)
Luxray: Discharge, Strength (try to use physical attacks)
Rapidash: Fire Blast, maybe Flamethrower (try to use physical attacks)
Staraptor: Fly, maybe Brave Bird (try to use physical attacks)
By the way, you can get that exact Electabuzz (except for the hold item, which can be changed) at L50 as a prize in Pokémon Battle Revolution.
Rawrh.
November 4th, 2007, 05:31 AM
NOW i know that latias and dialga are ubers (or whteva it is) how do i replace them, urgh this is harder then i expected... thanx for the your help by the way
Cytosine
November 4th, 2007, 06:16 AM
You change them by using something else that does a similar job. However, I'm not sure what job you're using them for.
Also, replace Luxray with Electivire. Glaceon is quite different.
Rawrh.
November 4th, 2007, 07:40 AM
Urgh now im REALLY stuck!!! someone PLEASE help i feel REALLY PATHETIC!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHH
Cytosine
November 4th, 2007, 07:51 AM

Wej
November 4th, 2007, 08:44 AM
you should post what you want each pokemon to do.
Water-Charizard
November 4th, 2007, 12:22 PM
take out latias and dialga.
evolve and change piplups moves(conversation recemondation).
swap luxuray for electivire(trade electabuzz holding electavizor).
change staraptor and rapidash moves (conversation recemondation).
and also give all the pokemon items(we will tell you which 1's when you get proper team)
Rawrh.
November 4th, 2007, 05:46 PM
Ok I sort of get it now... i evolve piplup, although i liked it the way it was, but hey. I get Electivire... How? I give them all items that will hopefully help. and i change staraptor, rapidash and piplup moves... What do i swap dialga and latias with?
I want my team to be offensive, by the way
Can u guys help me a bit more with this?
Shur'tugal
November 4th, 2007, 06:42 PM
To get Electivre trade Eletabuzz while holding the Eletirizer.
To get the Electirizer put Fire Red in the GBA slot of the DS go to Vally Windworks and Catch and Elekid.
5% chance of holding Electrizer in Peral
50% chance of holding Electrizer in Diamond
Bulbasaurus Rex
November 5th, 2007, 12:29 AM
...or you can complete all the colosseums in Pokémon Battle Revolution for Wii.
Whoops, that's for the surfing Pikachu. To get Electivire on Pokémon Battle Revolution, just enter the right code at the right place. Check Serebii.net for further details.
Rawrh.
November 5th, 2007, 01:28 AM
There is a problem with both of those useful suggestions...
1. I dont have a FireRed game (anymore)
2. I also dont have Nintendo Wii or Battle Revolution (although i'd like one)
3. Im not sure if this will complicate things a bit but my ds touchscreen is stuffed up and doesnt work
Shur'tugal
November 5th, 2007, 05:43 AM
Well then the only other way for you to get one is to get one off Wi-fi from someone.
If you don't have Wi-fi you caould try a Magnezong.
Rawrh.
November 5th, 2007, 07:24 AM
Yer i'll go for magnazone, much easier... im still stuck in the dialga, latias dilema though
Cytosine
November 5th, 2007, 02:56 PM
What do you want to use Latias/Dialga for? That'd help for deciding a replacement.
Bulbasaurus Rex
November 5th, 2007, 03:27 PM
I recommend a moveset of Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon, Metal Sound, and Magnet Rise for your Magnezone.
Constantine

Dead useful ty. Im going for dragonite coz he seems to have the moves that i like. I'm gonna get a lucario (i know how) and MAGNEZONE coz he is SOOOO much more obtainable 4 me.
New questions: Im sorry im so annoying!!! im just not used to playing outside of the game!
1. How do i get a Dragonite?
2. I need a bit more help with my other pokemons moves wat shud i teach them?
3. Is there much point in evolving piplup?
TY SOOO MUCH 4 UR HELP
Shur'tugal
November 5th, 2007, 07:05 PM
1. In mt coronet go up the waterfall and fish with a super Rod. You will evently find either a Dratini or a Dragonair. When you've caught one breed it with a ditto until you get the right nature.
2. Lucario and Starator use what titan suggested. For Magnezone use the moveset Bulba suggeted:
Magnezone@
Modest nature
Thunder Bolt
Flash Cannon
Metal Sound
Magent Rise
Empoleon use titans moveset with Surf.
3. Empoloeon has better stats and a wider move pool.

November 6th, 2007, 03:22 AM
Woohoo! i finally am getiing there... If I have ny problems, i'll gt back to you.
U GUYS R THE BEST!!!
Problem: How do I get the expert belt thing
WER
November 6th, 2007, 07:41 AM
Fly to Pal Park, then go up and to the left a bit. There should be an old man in a house who will ask you to bring him a Pokemon of a certain level. Show him what he wants, and he'll give you one of three items, one of which is the Expert Belt.
Rawrh.
November 6th, 2007, 07:42 AM
Problem 2: Is Hardy Nature OK for dragonite? I cant be bothered breeding
Cytosine
November 6th, 2007, 01:28 PM
Hardy isn't that great, you should definitely go for Jolly or maybe Adamant.
Constantine
November 6th, 2007, 03:07 PM
Flygon, have you checked the natures chart in WER's sticky thing at the top of the list. named: read this or you will be dynamic punched? it tells you which natures boost what. if so then, STOP being so lazy. Time and effort is a small price to pay for a perfect Dragonite.
Rawrh.
November 6th, 2007, 05:05 PM
Ok it was just because, i finally caught a dratini that wasted 15 Ultra Balls and diddnt really want 100000 of them, but to heck with it i'll get a adamant natured one, if its betta
Constantine
November 7th, 2007, 05:40 PM
it is. perfect natures and well placed EVs give your team such a power boost. =]
Rawrh.
November 7th, 2007, 06:31 PM
YAY!!! WOOHOO I GOT A ADAMANT NATURED DRATINI!!! PARTY!!!!
Ok thats done, how do i get fire punch and thunder punch on dragonite?
Bulbasaurus Rex
November 7th, 2007, 09:48 PM
You need to go to the Move Relearner after it evolves into Dragonite.
Rawrh.
November 8th, 2007, 05:08 AM
Wow, something easy! Seriously, u guys know so much its scary!
Constantine
November 8th, 2007, 11:30 AM
Tip. Always have ice-beam on a dragonite.
MisterDecent
November 8th, 2007, 11:35 AM
Uh....?
Stuck?
Well,
The best moves for a Dragonite are:
Dragon Dance
Outrage
Fire Punch
Thunder Punch
Remember that to learn Fire & Thunder Punch,
You need to go to the move re-learner in Pastoria City.

Earthquake>Thunderpunch if you can get it. Otherwise good. Jolly nature, or Adamant if not. 252 Atk, 252 Speed and 4 HP EVs.
Skittleman
November 8th, 2007, 02:39 PM
I would consider Dragon Claw over Outrage. While the difference is power is significant, consider that after you strike with Outrage, the opponent can switch to someone who can take the outrage, plus fire back with attacks of their own, while you're stuck still using Outrage, with no option to switch to a better pokemon.
In the end, I suppose it's up to you whether the insane power boost is worth the potential strategic disadvantages that come with it.
Rawrh.
November 8th, 2007, 06:49 PM
Does Dragonite learn Dragon Claw coz i taught my tm dragon claw to Dialga.
Skittleman
November 8th, 2007, 09:05 PM
Dragonite does not naturally learn Dragon Claw. It needs the TM. Unfortunately, I don't know where a second one is. Anyone care to help me out?
Constantine
November 9th, 2007, 05:20 AM
i don't remember the exact location, but usually it's in victory road. i know there is a lot of victory road to search, but hey. you kept going to get an adamant nature, so why give up now?.
if you have the TM on a GBA game. palpark a pokemon while holding the TM. that's how i got 18 masterballs. =]
Cytosine
November 9th, 2007, 03:22 PM
Power difference is definitely worth it. It's the main thing that Dragonite can do that Salamence cannot on a DD set (apart from Focus Punch).
Rawrh.
November 11th, 2007, 03:43 AM
still no luck at finding it! does anyone actually KNOW where it is?
P.S my dratini evolved 2day!
I also decided what im gonna teach Dragonite:
Dragon Claw
Ice Beam
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch
Shur'tugal
November 11th, 2007, 04:50 AM
Use one of these Dragonites
Dragonite@Choice Band
Adamant nature
Dragon Claw
Fire Punch
Thunder Punch
Earthquake
Dragonite@Expert Belt
Adamant nature
Dragon Claw
Fire Punch
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Tm dragon Claw is on the First Floor of Mt coronet
Rawrh.
November 11th, 2007, 05:51 AM
what is choice band? thanx 4 the dragon claw im gonna go look 4 it
Cytosine
November 11th, 2007, 06:54 AM
Choice Band is an item which raises Attack by 1.5x but you can only use one move until you switch. And I'd personally recommend Outrage>Dragon Claw anyway, at least with DD.
Rawrh.
November 11th, 2007, 07:03 AM
Oh.
Is it possible fore me to have this:
Dragonite@Expert Belt
Dragon Claw
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch
EarthQuake
Constantine
November 11th, 2007, 07:34 AM
Maybe, but i wouldn't have all physical attacks, have at least one sp.att. i would have ice beam over one of the punches.
MisterDecent
November 11th, 2007, 08:11 AM

It'd be better if there was a Dragon Dance in there.
Skittleman
November 11th, 2007, 05:47 PM
I would put a DD over Thunder Punch
Cytosine
November 11th, 2007, 06:09 PM
I know it's been said before, but use Outrage over Dragon Claw. It's the main thing which you should use it for instead of using DDMence. Lum Berry or Persim Berry held.
Rawrh.
November 12th, 2007, 07:39 AM
Hem... Dragon Claw or Outrage
Skittleman
November 12th, 2007, 11:09 AM
I find the choice between Outrage and Dragon Claw a matter of personal opinion. I prefer Dragon Claw just to be able to switch attacks and be able to switch to save him for later. It is worth noting though that later in the game, when those that can effectively take Outrage (i.e. defensive walls/Steel types), Outrage might have the power to sweep the entire team. The way I see it, Dragon Claw may best be used in the early game, and Outrage, the late game.
Cytosine
November 12th, 2007, 02:04 PM
Outrage, because DD will make it fast enough to outspeed foes, and it has EQ anyway, to kill Steel types (and Fire Fang/Blast for floaty steels).
Pencil Thief
November 12th, 2007, 02:24 PM
Maybe, but i wouldn't have all physical attacks, have at least one sp.att. i would have ice beam over one of the punches.
No. If the nature down grades sp. atk, then why would you use a sp. attacking move?
Personally, I would go with Dragon Claw, but that is because I don't like the side effect of Outrage.
Skittleman
November 12th, 2007, 02:24 PM
But that's what I'm getting at. Once you use Outrage to take out one foe (assuming the opponent doesn't switch right then), the opponent can send in a Steel type. At this point it won't matter what other attacks you have. It will be stuck using Outrage.
Cytosine
November 12th, 2007, 02:32 PM
But you don't bring in Dragonite (or you don't use DD/Outrage) until you know their Steel types are dead. Magnezone is a good partner.
Constantine
November 12th, 2007, 04:05 PM
i said use some sp.att because if someone uses charm or something like that 2/3 times in a row, then you are stuck. and screwed. because you have this huge dragon that should kick-ass, but can't because it has no firepower.
Cytosine
November 12th, 2007, 04:15 PM
Protip-if Dragonite has been Charmed, do not leave it in, generally
Instead, switch to strong special attacker
Constantine
November 12th, 2007, 04:21 PM
well, i am trying to cover all bases, but hey, take a risk. but when you get charmed and you lose, don't blame it on bad luck.
Pencil Thief
November 12th, 2007, 04:45 PM
I don't know if I know any pokemon that are used in competitive battling that would know Charm.
Cytosine
November 12th, 2007, 05:04 PM
I believe the only one that might is Vaporeon. Personally, I'd be more worried about Ice Beam.
Rawrh.
November 13th, 2007, 02:45 AM
So get outrage? Where do i get magnemite? (besides swarm)
Shur'tugal
November 13th, 2007, 06:39 AM
You can transfer one. Other than that and swam and breeding you can't get one legit.
Cytosine
November 13th, 2007, 03:04 PM
Dragonite learns Outrage naturally. Level 71 IIRC.
Constantine
November 13th, 2007, 04:23 PM
IIRC= if i remember correcrly??
Shur'tugal
November 14th, 2007, 02:33 AM
Dragonite learns outrage at Lv 64.
Rawrh.
November 14th, 2007, 07:45 AM
Damn my ds's touch screen doesnt work so i cant transfer!!!! AHHHHHHH cant wait til my bday when i get a new 1!
Rawrh.
November 15th, 2007, 08:12 AM
