Currently stuck trying to get myself a Munchlax. I've looked on other forums and the groups they list contradict themselves. Does anyone know which trees are the best bet for catching a Munchlax, how the time and day affect your chances and how many other honey trees you need to have slathered at the time?
Also, I have no access to the GTS and I don't have the national dex thus I can't breed a Snorlax with a Ditto and I can't trade for a Munchlax). Anyone trying to tell me to breed a Snorlax or trying to offer me a trade will be reported to the mods as spamming. Sorry if this sounds harsh but I've asked this twice before and both times I've had some selfish tool hijack the thread into their own trading emporium and it's been locked- as you might have guessed, I'm sick of them doing it!

Breed Snorlax with Ditto. The Snorlax must hold the lax insence. Or find one in a honey tree.{they are very rare}

Breed Snorlax with Ditto
*facepalm*
I've read somewhere that the tree near the Valley Windworks spurts out more Munchlax than other trees. I don't believe time of day or the number of slathered trees factor into whether one will show up.

Yeah I read that too, but supposedly Silcoon and Munchlax can't appear on the same honey tree. Yet when I put honey on the valley windworks tree a Silcoon showed up- thus I'm not sure what the deal is anymore (although strangely enough, using the groupings as a guide netted me a breeding pair of Heracrosses).

i heard somewhere, not sure where, that if you put 10-15 things of honey on one tree you have a better chance of getting a munchlax. i haven't tried it so i don't know if it works, but it's worth trying it i think.

I believe there's a better chance of a Munchlax at the tree at Fugeo Ironworks.
If i'm wrong, plz tell me so.

I got my Munchlax from a tree on route 205. Note that this is near the Valley Windworks, but its not the one right next to its entrance. Rather it's the tree by the small pass over the river. Go there and you'll see what I mean.
Oh, and I only used one honey. Though I may have just been very lucky.

sadly you can just buy 1 honey at a time, i think it should be like when you buy other stuff where you can get more than 1 at a time.

Why can't you just complete your Sinnoh Dex and transfer over a couple of Snorlaxes to breed with?

note: To breed Snorlax into a Munchlax Snorlax must be holding the Lax inceance. I don't know if its the male or the female so just do it with a ditto and give it to the Snorlax.

Full Incense, actually. Lax Incense is used to breed Wynauts. Trust me on this. Not that it matters. The guy can't get a Snorlax because he apparently doesn't have WiFi.
Though, you don't need WiFi to get the National Dex, seeing the Sinnoh 150 can be done in-game. In that way, you could then get Ditto, but it won't help much without a Snorlax.

If he/she has a GBA Pokémon game with Snorlax in it, he/she could just transfer it over after getting the National Dex.

Because to complete the Sinnoh dex you need to be able to see Munchlax, and besides finding him on a honey tree, I'm not aware of another method of spotting him.

Ditto isn't part of the Sinnoh dex though, only the national one.
