Will Couture come back?

I just finished reading the press conference from White and the other owners. They seem to be bringing in facts about Randy's compensation that are kind of hard to dispute. It seems like Randy's going after the UFC with vigor, whereas UFC seems to want to mend fences. They said they're offering him the first fight of 2008 to defend his UFC Heavyweight Title. The question is, do you think he'll take it? Is there a chance, even though I think the world of randy, that this is a publicity stunt to up his contract and drive up PPV buy rates for his next fight? Or will he tell the UFC where to go?Honestly, after seeing what they've paid him, I don't see what his complaint is, but then again, I'm not Randy Couture(....yet.... :paranoid: )

I thought Cotoure said he wasn't coming back, but Dana said he is going to book him a fight in '08 because he is under contract with the UFC. It was like Dana just had been all normal and just booked another fight for Cotoure.
Cotoure will come back, it will seem like nothing happened, he will be a unstoppable force and so on...

I listened to Couture's press conference, and it seems like randy would be willing to come back if Zuffa (i.e., Dana) would just respond to his complaints. He has no beef with the Fertittas, so maybe they need to sit Dana down and tell him that they appreciate him, but quit being such a cowboy and watch what you say. Dana is the one who needs to watch his mouth. He ain't dealing with Tito here...

Dana can't just book someone and MAKE them fight, whether they signed to a contract or not. Only thing Dana said he was gonna do was OFFER Couture a fight with big Nog in early '08. Whether Randy wants to come back or not however is entirely his decision...but just judging on the things he's said in interviews I wouldn't expect him back.
