should I use jolteon or electivre...or electrode?
there are too many options. I'm thinking of electrode as a special tank like bulba did, but I could use jolteon as special sweeper or electivire as a physical sweeper...there are too many options. help?
ps this is for competitive battles

It all depends on your style, and what slots need to be filled.
Jolteon has a decent special attack stat and an excellent 130 base speed. Electivire has a wide physical movepool and a strong attack stat. Electrode is the fastest of your three, but all of its other stats aren't that great (its special defence is equal to that of Scyther.)
Jolteon can learn Light Screen, and it has a higher Special Defence and Special Attack than Electrode while losing 10 base speed. But, with 130, you should still easily outrun everything else.
Jolteon all the way for a special sweeper and possibly a tank.
As for Electivire, I'll leave that to somebody else.

alright thanks. what do you reccomend as a moveset for jolteon?
wait I completely forgot that electrode can learn magnet rise and jolteon can't. Now I still don't know who I should go with! descisions, descisions.

Personally, I would go with an Electivire with this set:
Electivire@Expert Belt
-Adamant-
Ice Punch (egg move)
Thunder Punch
Earthquake
Cross Chop (Egg Move)

That exact Electivire (except for the hold item, which can be fixed) is available as a prize in Pokémon Battle Revolution for Wii.
