Is it possible for me to trade a gold/silver/crystal pokemon to ruby emerald or sapphire? Because i want those pokemons in my pearl game but i cant seem to trade any.

It's not possible. You can obtain second-generation (or Johto) Pokémon in Emerald or Colosseum and trade or transfer them to other advanced versions (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen/Colosseum/XD/Diamond/Pearl).

You can't trade from the first or second generation games to the third or fourth gen.

However, you can get a lot of G/S/C-only Pokemon in Emerald in the Safari Zone. You can also get a few more in Fire Red or Leaf Green.

Oh, and if you put the specific Pokémon you'd like to have transferred to D/P, we could give you better instructions and info.

Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil? Id like em, and lugia ho-oh and Suicune.

Oh and i just forgot to say, im getting action replay very soon if that could be any help?

The Johto starters are available in Emerald (one per game), Colosseum (all of them, though they are second stages/evolved forms), and XD-Gale of Darkness (as many as you want, I think, if you beat Battle Mountain's 100 trainers without switching your team a single time, plus those starters will know Elemental HyperBeam according to their type).

There's a specific forum for Action Replay codes and such, check it out.

:bashhead: I always fail at giving proper answers...

Lugia is catchable (?) in XD, Ho-Oh in Colosseum and Suicune in Colosseum and FR/LG if you chose Charmander.

Entie Suicune Riako are cathable on Fire Red and Leaf Green one per game.

E=if your starter was Bulba

S=if your starter was Charmander

R=if your starter was Squirtle


They are found random in the Kanto region after you beat the E4 and get the national dex
