As owners of Nintendo wii's we all see our selves getting the stale end of the online world although wi -fi is cheap ( free) we find is now sitting here more than willing to pay the same 50.99 for a year of xbox live.

Nintendo isn't totally down and out in this department , atleast online play does excist. And what's more over time i expect it to improve , lets start small , what is your take on headsets , lets use brawl's release date as a time set for importance , discuss.

I for one would love to see a headset for the Wii. I think that it would increase online play. If they did put it on it should only be with friends.

I do to. Coktal is right when he says about only being able to talk off of a friend list.

I hope they will, but I don't think they will. On the Smashbros site, they keep hinting how isolated you will be online, like Spectator most recently. "...absolutely no names of players can be seen..." They are too worried that no talk equals good talk to make their online service up to par with the competitors.

If Nintendo allowed voice chat it would be with friends only.

Nintendo is too overprotective when it comes to online features. I mean, look at the "Check Me Out" channel. We can't even put the name of our miis when we submit them. Only the initials.
