Spider-Man 3 Game not work on PSP Slim?

Does the Spider-Man 3 Game not work on PSP Slim and lite?

I have tried 3 different copies from 2 different stores and none of them will work. The PSP will play other games so it is not the system. Every copy I've tried will get to the second loading screne and then it will make a loud pop sound and the PSP will turn off.

Has anyone used the Slim PSP to play this game or is it just mine?

No clue, it should work and I haven't heard of any problems with this game not working before, so it's probably something with your system.

Weird problem though. Call Sony, while you probably wouldn't get a good answer from them, it doesn't hurt

Just a recap. I tried another copy from the first store again, and it works fine.

Just must have been a fluke with the 3 copies. But what are the odds of 3 copies from 2 stores in 2 different towns not working?

If theres a bad production line thatll do it, they gotta get products from somewhere.
The same with that Blu-ray rotting with that one PS3 movie (The Prestige I believe?)
And you should rather go to the game company than the hardware, which is activision I think? Activision is really responsive, I had some troubles with CoD and got it solved in about 5 hours.

Ok just another recap because I think I figured out what was wrong. This game does not work with the UMD Cache function turned on. So simply turning it off made it work fine. So if anyone else ever has this problem just turn that off.
