Wow! Brock Lesnar is in the UFC! This could get interesting. He's only had one MMA fight, but he dominated his opponent. On top of that, though, he's got the name recognition. It should make for some good fights.

They haven't said yet, to my knowledge. They just had Joe Rogan interview him in the audience. Then at the conclusion of Sylvia/Vera, they showed him again, but below him they put "Brock Lesnar, UFC Heavyweight Fighter".
Austin.

Dang it, you beat me to it, I was just about to post this thread. I think Larsnar (haha) Lesnar will do great on the UFC considering how good he did in his last fight.

But wasn't he scheduled to face a more... credible fighter in his last fight, and they subbed his opponent last minute with a really bad fighter? I thought there was some controversy...
We'll see how Lesnar does against a higher grade of competition... I'm not holding my breath.

He hasn't been tested at all yet. Not every big, good amatuer wrestler that comes in translates into a badass MMA fighter. We haven't seen how he reacts to getting hit, we haven't seen if he has any submission defense or striking skills. If he gets thrown to the wolves right away instead of being slowly built up I'm predicting a short-lived MMA career.

I believe that Lesnar's MMA run will be just as successful as his NFL run.

Yeah, he'll have a few matches that he will win in the first couple of rounds, then everyone will be saying how great he is, he'll get a big match and get killed.

Everyone talks about how great wrestler he is and he is but most wrestlers don't like being on their back. He has one MMA fight against a guy who was 3-5 in MMA competition. I am not sold on lesnar being that great of a fighter.

At the same time, I'm going to be careful to not underestimate the guy. Just because he hasn't been tested yet doesn't mean he won't do well against a higher level of competition.
He's new... He hasn't gotten there yet, but he very well could.
Either way, I think it's a good signing by UFC, especially with all the stuff about Randy wanting to leave and everything. Hopefully Lesnar will bring in some TV ratings and PPV buys and merch sales.
