Help with Highest Skill Achieved

Alright I have been seeing people with their highest skill achieved like at 35 or 40. My highest is 4. So, my question is how do you get a skill achieved that high playin matchmaking. Anyone that helps would be awesome. Thanks

I've seen people as high as 49. I myself am at 20 in Lone Wolves, and in Team Slayer.

I think the people that got that high, got there early on when Halo 3 had been out for maybe a day or two. What I think, is that people who back in Halo 2 that may have only been able to get to 15, kept getting matched up with players could only get to 10. Said player, kept winning, and kept ranking up. It's like how nobody could get past 35 or so legit in Halo 2 due to modding or some other form of cheating. Now, the cheating is gone, but there are so many players who lacked sufficient skill to get high up in Halo 2, that are getting there in Halo 3 because they just keep getting matched by somebody is just slightly worse than them. It's like a big train.

Yeah, i was slightly surprised my first time playing. I thought I would get dominated in the butt, like I would in Halo 2, but I did surprisingly well my first match (20 kills, not the win but 2nd place).

Just keep playing. Im at a 49 in TS and even after 8 wins in a row i dont get my 50. It balances itself out in the higher levels.

Yea im 23 now i could be like a 35 by now but i dont try and just keep playing and youl get better and level up
