I think this is this is the right place to post it.
My computer is getting slower. My downloads speeds use to be 500+ and now its less then 100. And when I play online games like Warcraft 3 logging in use to be almost instant but now its takes a 30+sec to enter and a few sec to sign in.
Is that normal for a computer to get slower or it might be a Virus/Spyware?

Most likely virus/spyware, unless your ISP decided to chop your connection.

If you need to know how to get rid of a virus or spyware, please post again, as we are willing to help.

Well I did a few scans for virus and spyware but nothing showed up. And what is ISP?

ISP = Internet service provider. Time warner cable (roadrunner), comcast, Bellsouth DSL, etc.

Has it been a gradual decline, or a sharp spike? If it's a sharp spike, and it hasn't been going on very long, it may just be a weak connection caused by the company doing work on the network, or it may be something on your computer/someone else on your network.

There are a variety of reasons why it could be slowing down. Virus/spyware/adware could be one of them. Try some virus scans, coupled with Ad-Aware (or your prefered adware scanning program) and Spybot (ditto). If there are other computers on your network, make sure none of them are downloading or uploading anything. Try cleaning out your internet temp. files (a program like CCleaner is awesome for this, just uncheck "cookies").

These are all POSSIBLE solutions, but may not be the only ones. Just try some of the more basic stuff above and see if your speed improves. Keep us posted.

Well I cleaned out the temp files a few days a go and my friend says they don't get deleted just moved somewhere were you can't get to it. Is that true? I'm going to try CCleaner tomorrow I have to go after this. And the speed has been a gradual decline.

You could also try a good ol' defrag. That can often make everything run faster. Options for defrag are in your control panel somewhere, I believe.

At first my dad did defrag it. It worked well for a few weeks computer start up was faster speeds faster but it started to decline for a few days then just went all the way back to before it was defraged.

So, is just the internet slow, or is general work on the computer (opening programs, browsing files, etc) slow as well?

Both, it takes a few more sec to open programs like Microsoft word internet and startup. And when I try to go add or remove programs to see the currently installed programs it would take over 30Mins to load.

Do you install/uninstall programs frequently? If you do that a lot, it tends to clog up Windows and after a while everything becomes so slow, that the only real solution is to reinstall the OS.

It can also be virus/spyware. If you download HijackThis and run it, it will display a log of all the processes running on your computer and the stuff in your registry. You can post it here and we can see if something looks suspicious in there.

Well I barely install/uninstall programs. And as for HijackThis think here I placed them in Photobucket:

You might need to re-install your whole OS. But I would seek help from a professional before you decide to go full bore on it like that. For the internet you may have to reset your IP address. Ya know? Unplug your modem/router for a while because mine does that every once in a while and after 10 seconds off it is fine.

And judging by your HijackThis list you might have spyware because you have a sh*t load compared to me. I have maybe 9 things and the same as my dad because he is very tight with that stuff.
