"Rune Factory is a hard game for beginners." Is it? I've watched some videos on YouTube, and for me, RF looks like a crossbreed of your regular Harvest Moons and a hack-and-slash-styled RPG. I'd love to buy and try the game, but if it's too hard, it takes the pleasure of playing. I hate losing so much.
I own AWL, and I'm a hardcore fan of turn- and gridbased RPGs. I also have Kingdom Hearts I, it seems to share a little closer resemblance to RF than any other RPG I've played. Am I too inexperienced? :D
(Oh, and please say if my English is hard to read/understand or if I should have asked this question somewhere else. Thank you.)

Rune Factory is incredibly hard. You die almost immediatly. You have to be a good Harvest Moon player. It's fun, but hard. :D

Well Sure it's hard...but...what's a game without a little of difficulty??...I think u should buy it, the game it's nice, and it's kind of a break of the traditional HM series....so why not to try it first and then....if u like it, Buy it!... It's very fun, and with a whole new things to do.
But hey!...ok it's hard, u bought it...well....play it and play it and play it...and you'll become a master on it....it's just PRACTICE and a los of patience

Well, it's nice I got some more opinions on Rune Factory, one alone wouldn't have convinced me to buy it. Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open and hopefully find a real-life store that sells the game.
This thread has gotten quite old, though, so I'd suggest someone closes this. I got my answers, and to avoid future bump-warnings... I don't want anyone to get into trouble.

-blinks- Ironiclly enough, I just got that game, and my DS with the game is sitting right infront of me. I was actually hoping for some hints. I'm on the... 3rd day of the game, and though it was challenging in the begining, I think I'm getting the hang of it. ^_^
