Yes, there's a possibility. But the chance of it happening are the same as viewing one in the wild. =/ So it's incredibley rare aswell. Though a myth, breeding shiny parents together does not increase the odds of hatching a shiny.

Yes, there is a chance but like AH here just said its very rare. I recommend a shiny ditto or eevee think it over. on an unrelated note nice pic AH.

Arctic Houndoom also mentioned that shiny parents do not increase the odds of having a shiny baby. That was possible in G/S/C, but not in advanced generations.

If you want to try your chances at getting a shiny in Gen. IV, save before you receive the egg, and if you want, you could try shiny parents.

Shiny parents do not increase the chances of getting a shiny. There is a way howeve to guarentee getting a shiny with out hacking. Pokemon pearl diamond and platinum have not so random random number generator that you can exploit to get a shiny egg. If Seerow or the best moderater ever, Milo Rambaldi, will allow me I can post the link on exactly how to do it, but I can confirm that it works. I have used this method to breed a shiny Buizel and Im locked onto a shiny Eevee.

Well, I WAS going to let you post it, since I am also a moderator of this forum, but since you will only do it if SEEROW allows it...

SuperSimon, posting links that are relevant to the topic is not against any rules, as long as you're not trying to advertise a site or something. :P
