Needs EV Spreads.

Gyarados: Hasty isn't the best nature for it (because of the loss of Def), but its manageable. Moveset's okay.

Umbreon: it's not really set up for attacking, even with the Modest nature. You can maybe keep Dark Pulse for STAB, but definately get rid of Psychic. Also consider a complete overhaul to maybe a Baton Passer of some sort or another kind of wall.

Electivire: Yeah, that's the standard.

Bronzong: Block isn't particularly useful, especially since Extrasensory isn't going to take your opponent out anytime soon. Gyro Ball may be a better move for attacking as Bronzong is really slow. Consider replacing Block with Hypnosis.

Dragonite: Standard moveset, bad nature. Use an Adamant or Jolly nature if you're going to use that set. If not, then consider replacing Fire Punch with Fire Blast to take out things like Skarmory which can resist Fire Punch well enough but not Fire Blast.

Espeon: another useless nature, but the moveset's decent enough. I don't think it'll be around long enough for Morning Sun to be of much use, though.

Items:
Gyarados: Life Orb?
Umbreon: Leftovers
Electivire: Expert Belt
Bronzong: Leftovers
Dragonite: Lum Berry (increases Outrage's usefulness quite a bit)
Espeon: Wise Glasses or Life Orb, Choice Specs/Scarf maybe if you replace Morning Sun with a special attacking move.

Edit: which ability does Brozong have? Levitate or Heatproof?

pokemonmaster-1

It has both Levitate and heatproof

Rick52
October 12th, 2007, 01:42 AM
... ... ...it can only have one or the other. That's why I asked him, which one of the two his Bronzong has...

pokemonmaster-1
October 12th, 2007, 01:47 AM
actually it can have both and its not the only pokemon with more than one ability.

WER
October 12th, 2007, 01:54 AM
Uh, if a Pokemon is listed as having two abilities, it means that it has a 50% chance of having either of the abilities when it is caught/hatched.

It does not mean that both abilities would be in effect.

pokemonmaster-1
October 12th, 2007, 02:40 AM
Sorry, I thought it had both.

Give Gyardos the Choice Scarf

blhuud
October 12th, 2007, 05:14 PM
bronzong has levitate. I'll do a nature change only for dragonite and espeon
what would be a good moveset for umbreon though? hypnosis replaced with block-done.

Cytosine

I'd go for Baton Pass/Mean Look/Moonlight/Toxic or Dark Pulse.

Don't use ScarfDos, DD is better on it.

Rick52

Like I said before someone got carried away with Bronzong's ability (Levitate is the better of the two), you need to post your EV spreads as well.

does anyone know where to find a lum berry

Cytosine
October 13th, 2007, 10:19 AM
You can get it as a Pal Park prize or from the Berry Master. Don't know about other places.

if i were you, i would give dragonite these moves

an electric move is good against some of its weaknesses

i would replace bronzong with a gengar, and espeon with your starter

dragnite-no
gengar-no, bronzong is my wall
starter-I just don't want one, besides, espeon is my special sweeper

Edit-is there anyone I could replace with a manoswine?

Scandalous
October 14th, 2007, 01:50 PM
Are you looking for a specific Type to replace it with? Ice? Ground? Replacing it for an Annoyer, PHazer, WishPasser?

Rick52
October 14th, 2007, 01:53 PM
If you really want to put Mamoswine in, I'd say replace Dragonite with it if only to keep the Gyarados/Electivire combo intact.

However, I would still keep Dragonite over Mamoswine.

pokemonmaster-1
October 14th, 2007, 04:53 PM
blhuud: If you want a Mosowine I would get rid of either Espion or Umbron.

mastersyi03: fly is terrible/draco meteor reduces sp att and is a special move

Go with what pencil thief posted and give dragonite either leftovers or expert belt[if your gona use eq] And give bronzong leftovers

Should I put a salamance instead of dragonite, because salamane has better base stats for the stats I'm using(attack, speed, hp)

Pencil Thief
October 15th, 2007, 05:17 PM
Its totally up to you. Salamence doesn't have as wide a move pool as Dragonite, but is a good for Choice Specs.

Rick52
October 15th, 2007, 05:27 PM
The difference between Dragonite's and Salamence's HP and Attack is very minimal at best. Salamence does have a Speed advantage (20 base speed more), but Dragonite has better defenses (95/100 for Def/SDef) than Salamence (80/80), though Ice attacks make those defenses a moot point mostly. Salamence also has slightly higher Sp. Attack (10 base more).

Really, you can pull off a couple of different movesets with Salamence (the special "Specsmence" one and a couple of physical ones), whereas with Dragonite there's just the one standard one (though Salamence can't learn Outrage like Dragonite can).

I'm gonna keep dragonite then. Thanks for the help everyone

edit-who should I lead with?

Shur'tugal
October 16th, 2007, 01:33 AM
You should lead with Electivre.

Cytosine
October 16th, 2007, 04:18 AM
Actually, lead with Gyarados. Intimidators are generally good leads, and if your opponent doesn't suspect it you can use the Gyaravire trick.
