They just announced on AOTS that they will be playing new episodes of Heroes on Saturdays on G4 starting in November. I don't think they'll be brand new episodes, but this might be a great way for people who missed previous episodes to catch up on the story. I think it's a good idea for G4 to get more viewers.

They already appear online the next day. That's how I watch them.

Yeah, but don't you have to pay for them?

No. 100% free on NBC.com every Tuesday morning.

Is it only free on Tuesday morning?
Regardless. There's some good tv heading G4. Today they announced that they'll be playing Lost episodes with some behind the scenes content and are calling it Lost 2.0 (kind of like their Cops 2.0, except cooler), and that their going to be showing Major League Gaming, which is like Arena, except cooler, and the people playing are pros, and not a bunch dumb teens trying to get to Hawaii.
Really all this means almost nothing to me, but this is good stuff for lots of other fokes. Personally, I want more Code Monkeys, but that's just me.

I have no idea why I said Tuesday Morning. I meant Tuesdays in general.

Just further proof that G4 is not about video games.
I've never really watched heroes since I don't get NBC and it did not appeal to me but I might check it out to see if the hype is true.

The people running G4 is clueless and quite frankly I don't see the network surviving in 3-5 years.
Side Note: Last year Sci-fi re-aired Heroes reruns on Thursdays after they aired.
As for watching shows online most stations allow you to watch shows online. I caught a few missed episodes of Who wants to be a superhero episodes on scifi's pluse, and if you have a service like tivo (or any DVR) or OnDemand you can see the episode when ever you want.
This isn't a big deal for G4. It won't help G4. G4 is done.

This is ture, "Ratings numbers give G4TV the unlucky distinction of being the least viewed basic cable network in America - less than evangelistic channels, less than third-rate shopping channels." - "E3 got G4 the highest ratings since the channel launched ages ago. But in reality, a 'good week' for G4 is still a disaster."
I can't deny the facts, but I still like G4, Mainly because I find thier hosts charasmatic. I like Kevin, Olivia, Adam, Morgan, Zach, Kristin, Layla, Joel, Blair, and Chris. I most of all love the fact that they joke around on the air, seemingly unprofessional yet keep it on track, and amusing. The managment of G4 is a different story, the hosts are just that, hosts, what they do even if it seems like everything is on the fly is still kept in the big picture of what their upper mangament desires, which isn't always that awesome.
G4 used to be just about video games, but it started to branch out, maybe for the worse? I enjoy AOTS and X-Play and for the most part every show on there... except for "Cheaters" not to be confused with it's other show "Cheat" which is awesome. They should really polish these shows, but it seems like G4TV is scrambling to get what it can to improve it's ratings by pulling in other shows, and not really trying to improve on whats it's already got. It is a real shame, and I agree when you say that it wont last long *tear*. I just hope it lasts long enough for me to see some good matches in Halo and Super Smash if MLG is hoping on G4. :D

I think they went down hill after G4 bought out TechTV and got rid of all of the great shows except for X-Play (Attack of the Show doesn't count as a part of TechTV since they cancelled The ScreenSavers and just put AOTS in its place) I miss all of the old Tech TV shows: The ScreenSavers, Call for Help, Internet Tonight, Fresh Gear and Silicon Spin. It was sad to see them all get replaced with crap like drift racing, Cops, and Cheaters. These are the things the geeks enjoy?!?!
And like you said, G4 used to be about the games but really messed up the line up. They even kept the shows that were about games and turned those to crap. Icons and Filter were good examples of this. Icons was about showing you the historical side of gameing but then they replaced it with the concept of showing you the lives of (in)famous people like Michelle Rodriguez and Jamie Kennedy. What do these people have to do with games other than the fact that they were in diabloic movies based on games? And don't even get me started on how Filiter had it going until they changed the host and format to give us list that have nothing to do videos games. "30 things to do before you die." Lets see, is sell a kidney to buy a PS3 on there or bet a Mega Man X game? Nope, just "see some tourist attraction in Latin America." How about they just bite me!!! That is something that G4 needs to do before it kill itself off.
I feel so alone right now.

G4 as a whole, I don't care too much, I just want X-Play and maybe AOTS to live in in some way or form in the future...Kevin, Oliva, Adam, Morgan... if you can hear... ESCAPE NOW, BEFORE IT'S TO LATE! :P
